Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Cargo Basket Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Load Warrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number Y07070. The Yakima Load Warrior is great for carrying a wide variety of luggage, sporting goods equipment and camping gear on the top of your vehicle while freeing up space inside your vehicle. The overall dimensions of the cargo basket are going to be 44 inches long by 30 inches wide, by 6 1/2 inches tall. Now the interior dimensions are going to be 38 1/2 inches long by 38 1/2 inches wide. The cargo basket itself has a carrying capacity of 140 pounds, although before you load anything onto your cargo basket, check your vehicle's manual to make sure it can withstand that weight. This basket will accept Load Warrior and Mega Warrior accessories, which includes the high lift jack bracket, part number Y07077, the spare tire carrier, part number Y07076, the light mounting bracket, part number Y07075, and the ax shovel bracket, part number Y07078, which are sold separately. more

Now this is 31-1/2" long x 37" wide x 4" deep and has a 150-pound weight capacity. But you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. We already have three of our four mounts secured in place. We have our fourth one here on the back passenger side. We have that spacer in place that is easily removable and adjusted in between the different bars to accommodate different crossbar spreads. more

Underneath, we're going to have another metal bracket that has rubber on the top to help prevent any scratches or abrasions from our bracket onto our crossbar. more

It's going to be 49 inches long by 40 inches wide by six inches deep and have a 150 pound weight capacity, though you do want double check your vehicles owner's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. We all ready got three of our four feet secured down and mounted. We've got our spacer here that's going to act as a bracket and a place for everything to sit on top of our bar. To adjust that, we loosen these two bolts here and we can tighten those down once it's in place. We'll take our U bolt, place that underneath. more

Thule Roof Basket Review - 2017 Nissan Maxima- Video
Today on our 2017 Nissan Maxima we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket, part number TH859XT. Now we already have our basket placed on top of our vehicle, we'll go ahead and show you how the last clamp goes on. Now one of the nice features is is that you do have four mounting points. Now these mounting points are adjustable so it's going to work with a lot of different crossbar spreads. We're going to take our u-bolts and we're going to come underneath the crossbar and we're going to come in and attach them with the provided wingnuts. These cargo baskets are perfect for getting any damp or oversized gear out of your car, that way you don't have to worry about getting the inside dirty. A nice feature of this cargo basket is that there's multiple tie down locations all around, and on the bottom. more

Curt Roof Basket Review - 2017 Nissan Maxima- Video
Today on our 2017 Nissan Maxima we're going to be taking a look at the CURT Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number C18115. Now we already have our cargo basket placed on top of our vehicle, we'll go ahead and show you how it secures down. First, you'll notice that we have our pad sitting on top of our crossbar underneath the basket. Next we're going to take our u-bolt and come underneath, and it's going to fit right into the channel. Then after that we're going to take our plate, line up the holes, put it on top. Then we have these wingnuts that we'll secure down. One of the really nice features of this cargo basket is as you can see there's multiple locations all around the perimeter and in the middle for tie-down points, so you don't have to worry about finding any specific spot. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Rogue we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number RMCB. Now we already have our cargo basket in place, and we have three of the attachment points already secured. We'll go ahead and show you how the last one goes on. I do want to mention when you put this on you're going to want to have this lower plate underneath the basket before you get any of your attachments put on. We're going to take this plate right here, and that's going to go right over top. There's two tabs that it's going to sit into, you line up the holes and it'll snap in place. Then we can take our bottom piece with the rubber facing up, come underneath the bar, and put our bolts in place. It does come with an included Allen key to tighten everything up. more

Today on our 2017 Nissan Maxima, we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number RMCB. Now, as you can see we already have our cargo basket on our vehicle. I'll go ahead and show you how we get the last clamp on. As you can see here, there is a plate with a rubber pad mounted right here in between the basket and a 00:00:24 cross bar. Next, we're going to take another plate and it's going to go over the top and you're going to want to push it on getting it secure into the slots. Next, we're going to take the bottom plate making sure that the rubber's facing up, come underneath, and we're going to attach our bolts. We're going to go ahead and tighten these up. more

Today on our 2017 Kia Soul, we're going to test fitting the Thule Canyon XT roof cargo basket, part number TH859XT. The Thule Canyon XT is great for carrying your camping gear, your luggage, sporting goods equipment, anything you want to keep out from the inside, or to free up more space on the inside. It measures 49 inches long, by 40 inches wide, and by six inches tall at the highest point. It comes with the farring 00:00:24 unit already installed, and that coupled with the aerodynamic design of the cargo basket itself, you're going to cut down on wind noise and drag while you're driving. With the placement of the rack, you're not going to have to remove the antennae at all. Plus, it's not going to interfere at all with your rear hatch, as there's plenty of clearance between the two. Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's go ahead and show you it installs. Today in our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be testing the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket, part number: TH859XT. Our cargo basket is great for keeping things out of your vehicle that you don't want in there or to make more space for you and your family while you are traveling. It can carry a wide variety of items ranging from luggage to sporting goods equipment to coolers. The cargo basket has a nice aerodynamic shape to it and that, coupled with the fairing that's installed in the front, you're going to experience less wind noise and drag while you're driving. The measurements are going to be 49" long by 40" wide by 6" tall at its highest point. We also have several points here which you can use as a tie-down for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. It has a carrying capacity of 150 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Also, with the cargo basket in its current position, we're not going to have any issues of clearance between our actual hatch and the cargo basket itself. First we'll go ahead and set our cargo basket onto our roof rack, lining up our brackets at the front here. We're going to have to make some adjustments to bring our rear brackets where they need to be. You're going to have two bolts on the inside here. more

The Rhino-Rack Cargo Basket is great for keeping any items you don't want on the inside of your vehicle to make more space for you and your family while you travel. It can carry anything from sporting goods equipment to camping gear to coolers. The basket's aerodynamic shape, coupled with the fairing that does come installed, it's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. The basket measures 47" long by 35" wide by about 6" tall at these points here. It has a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. With our current position that the basket's in, we're not going to have any clearance issues between the hatch and the cargo basket itself. Today on our 2017 Ram 1500 we're going to be test fitting the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number C18115. The Curt Rooftop Cargo Basket is great for storing things that you don't want on the inside of your vehicle or if your truck bed is completely full such as luggage, sporting goods equipment, coolers, anything like that. It measures 47-1/2" long by 37" wide, by 4" deep so you'll have plenty of space to work with to store your gear. It also comes with this fairing in the front, making the cargo basket a little more aerodynamic in cutting down wind noise and drag while you're driving. It's very easy to install and just clamps onto your existing roof rack with this U-bolt and clamping system. This basket is rated to carry up to 150-lbs although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that amount of weight. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the cargo basket let's go ahead and show you how it installs. First we're going to go ahead and set it onto our roof rack. Today on our 2013 Toyota Highlander we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack roof mounted cargo basket. That part number is RMCB. This is 47 inches long by 35 inches wide and has a 165 pound weight capacity. We already have three of our four mounts in place and secured down. We're going to show you how to do our back mount. Thule Roof Basket Review - 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon XT roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is TH859XT. Now this is 49" long by 40" wide by 6" deep and has a 150 pound weight capacity. Although it does have that weight capacity, you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your vehicle can withstand that much weight. Now we already have three of our four brackets secured down. We're going to show you our fourth one here. more

Curt Roof Basket Review - 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
To their 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the CURT roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is C18115. This is 41-1/2" long by 37" wide by 4" deep, and has a 150 pound weight capacity. Even though it does have that weight capacity you do with check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your vehicle can withstand that much weight. We've already got three of our four spacers down and secured with our brackets. We have our fourth spacer in place. more

Today on 2014 Chrysler Town and Country we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Canyon XT Roof Mounted Cargo Basket. That's part number TH859XT. So I've already got it loaded up just to give you a good idea of what it looks likes, it's on our factory roof rack system. It's dimensions are 49 inches long, by 40 inches wide, and 6 inches deep here at the center. Now when positioning your basket up your roof you always want to be sure you leave enough room so you can still open up your rear hatch all the way. As you can see we're not going to have that problem with the way we have it set up. more

Curt Roof Basket Review - 2014 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket. That's part number C18115. Now it's dimensions are 41.5" long, 37" wide, and 4" deep. Now when loading the roof rack, or excuse me, the roof mounted cargo basket on your roof, it's always a good idea to make sure you leave enough room so you can still open your rear hatch. You can see with the way we've got it positioned onto our factory roof rack system, we're not going to have that issue. A few other things to know about the roof mounted basket, it is made out of a tubular steel construction design. It has 150 pound weight capacity, though you'll want to be sure and check with your vehicle's owner's manual to see if it can carry that much. more

Today on our 2012 Mazda 3, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino rack roof-matic cargo basket. That part number is RMCB. This is 47 inches long by 35 inches wide and has 165 pound weight capacity. You do want to check your vehicles owners manual to make sure your roof can with stand that much weight, you'll go with the lesser of the two. We already have 3 of our 4 mounts secured down. To start off we've put our plastic bracket in between our carrier and our crossbar. more
