Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra- Video
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number y02098. To install our carrier, we'll begin by placing it on top of our crossbars. We'll open up the clamp at the head of the bike rack and fit it around our front crossbar and then we'll tighten it down with the T-bolt and wing nut. After its tightened down we can go ahead and slide the cover back into place and we can reinstall our skewer. At the back we'll need to slide the clamp over our rear crossbar and again we'll tighten it down with a T-bolt and wing nut. Now we're ready to load our bike. more

Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra- Video
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Domestique Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number th513. To begin our test fit, we'll sit the head of the bike carrier on top of our front crossbar. We'll fit the clamp around and tighten it down with the included Allen wrench. At the rear of the bike rack we'll position the clamp over the rear crossbar and again use the included Allen key to tighten it down. With our bike rack secured to the roof rack we can go ahead and replace our skewer. We'll make sure that the wheel strap is open and then we'll be ready to mount our bike. more

Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra- Video
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test rating the Swagman Fork-Style Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number s64710. We'll place the bike rack up on top of our crossbars. At the front, we'll fit the two U-bolts around the cross bars and use the wing nuts to secure the front of the bike rack. Next we'll move to the back of the bike carrier. We'll fit the U-bolt through the carrier from the top this time. We'll take the clamp and two wing nuts to clamp around the bar from the bottom. more

RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra- Video
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number rky1014. We'll go ahead and lift up the bike carrier and sat it on top of our crossbars. We'll feed the straps at the head of the carrier around our front bar and lock them back into the head and use an Allen key to tighten them down. At the back we use the clamp and tighten down with an Allen wrench as well. Once we've done that we're ready to load up our bike. We'll pick the bike up, place the rear wheel into the wheel tray and drop the front fork down into our skewer. more

RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra- Video
Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number rky1011. Now with our roof rack system already assembled and installed on the vehicle we'll sat the carrier onto the crossbars. It's important that the carrier is perpendicular to the crossbars and parallel to the vehicle to ensure that the brackets have a proper fit onto the crossbars. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the front crossbar and hook them into position. We'll then move to the rear of the carrier. This is where we'll loosen up the bracket, swing it around the underside of the rear crossbar and use the included Allen key to tighten it down. more
