Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2009 Jeep Wrangler

Today on our 2009 Jeep Wrangler we're going to do a test fit on the 31 by 47 Pro Series Solo cargo carrier. They've designed this for use with 2" hitches. It offers a 400 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is PS1040100. Now as this is one of the larger cargo carriers that we offer it can be a little hard to manage with just a single person. If you've got help I'd recommend calling them out and having them help you put it in the vehicle. If not, I have developed a pretty good strategy that works out for me. more

Now I'll come around to the rear, I'm going to lift up and push in at the same time. more

Curt Folding Aluminum Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Alright, today on this 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to do a test fit of part number C18100 from Curt. This is Curt's Folding Aluminum Cargo Carrier. A few notes about this cargo carrier is that it is designed for 2-inch receiver hitches only, it has a weight capacity of 500 lbs, and the dimensions on the cargo carrier are 20 x 60. And we'll start off our test fit by installing the cargo carrier into the hitch and then we'll go ahead and install the hitch pin and clip. Right off the bat on our test fit we notice the cargo carrier sits really close to the vehicle's hatch when it's installed in a stored position. So when driving down the road we probably do not want to drive it like that. more
