Best 2016 Lexus GX 460 Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the best trailer hitch option for a 2016 Lexus GX-460. And here we have three different options that we're looking at today. We start with a CURT, an etrailer, and then finally a Draw-Tite. And as you might notice, these are a little bit different than a traditional hitch, and that's because they just directly bolt up to the bottom side of the vehicle with factory weld nuts, which makes the installation super easy for all of them. Now, taking a little bit look at the differences between these, your CURT and your etrailer have a plate on top of them and that's to allow for clearance to be able to get it perfectly mounted up without having to do any trimming, and the Draw-Tite also it clears with no problem, and that's because it is slightly different, it's a little more raised on this top plate, and as we line these up, something else that the Draw-Tite has is it sticks out a little bit further, which can be a pro. That's also something you can catch your shins on as you're walking by, and really this one sticks out far enough with our pin and clip that I really don't worry too much about clearance issues, about anything loaded up here, so even though it does stick out a little bit further, I don't know if it necessarily gains you anything. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Lexus GX 460- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Lexus GX460, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class 3 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13043. Here is what our hitch is going to look like once it is installed. Now, there is no cross tube, so all you're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out right below the bumper. Now, it is a Class 3 hitch, which means it's going to give us a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and there's going to be a wide variety of accessories that are going to be available for it.It's going to feature a reinforced collar, giving it added strength, and just a nice finished look to it. The way we're going to mount all of our accessories is going to be through the pinhole here and it's going to accept a standard five-eighths pin and clip. Now, these aren't included in the kit, but you can pick it up on our website.The safety chain connection point is going to be a plate style. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Lexus GX 460- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Lexus GX460, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite max frame trailer hitch receiver, and that's gonna be part number 75685. So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed. All we're gonna see is the receiver tube sticking out because there's no cross tube on our hitch itself. It's a class three hitch, which means it's gonna give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and it has a reinforced collar giving it added strength, and just an overall nice look to it. There's gonna be multiple different accessories since it is a class three that are gonna be available for it.Any accessories we're gonna mount, we're gonna mount with this forward hole toward the front, and it's gonna accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip.
