So, whether you're looking for a hitch for your Encore to use a cargo carrier, or a bike rack, or maybe a small utility trailer, there are a couple of options. We have a hitch from Curt and the hitch from Draw-Tite. I like the Draw-Tite, it has a little higher weight capacity, and there's a couple of other things I like about it more, and I'll get into those in a little bit. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Buick Encore- Video
Rob here at etrailer.com. And today you're going to be taking a look at the CURT class one custom fit trailer, hitch receiver on our 2019 Buick Encore. Now here's what it's going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going to be sitting right below the bumper. But the main thing we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out because that cross tube's going to be pushed back a little bit.Now it is a class one, so it's going to give us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. And most people associate a hitch with towing a trailer, but our class one hitch is going to be able to do a lot of different things. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Buick Encore- Video
Robert: Robert here at etrailer.com and today, you're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Class II Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2019 Buick Encore. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. It is going to sit right below the bumper and the cross tube is going to be visible, but it's tucked back a little bit, so the main thing we see is that receiver tube sticking out. Since it is a Class II, it's going to give us 1.25" by 1.25" receiver tube opening.Now, regardless of what you're going to be using it for, if you want to tow a small trailer, put a bike rack in there, or even maybe a smaller cargo carrier in to make some more room, we're going to mount all of our accessories to the hitch pin hole here on the side. Now it is going to accept a standard 1/2" pin and clip. Now these are not included with the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure.Now, if you are going to be doing some light-duty towing, this keep in mind, there are specific draw bars that are made for this hitch, and you can find those here at etrailer.com, and again those are sold separately. more
