Today on our 2013 Ford Escape well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja two bike carrier trunk mount, part number HRB2. To begin our test fit well set the carrier onto the vehicle and use the levers on the left and right side of the carrier to adjust the arms. The cradle arms will need to be level or slightly angled up. Once weve established this position well go ahead and lock the arms in place. Well put the top straps to the top part of the cargo door and the bottom straps to the bottom part of the cargo door. Well then tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. more

The instructions will tell you what measurement your trunk rack needs to be atFor this model, the trunk rack will need to be the size 7. Well then take the trunk mounted carrier and set it on to the trunk, attached the first set of hooks to the top of the trunk and the second set of hooks to the rear of the trunk and use the grey knobs located at the right and left side of the carrier to tighten up the cables.Once the cables are secured and tightened were now ready to load the bike. To load the bike lift up on the grey handle and tilt the cradle arms towards you. Once the cradle arms are in place again, push down on the grey handle to lock it in place and undo the cradle straps. Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2013 Kia Rio- Video

Today on this 2013 Kia Rio, well be test fitting the Yakima Quickback 2-Bike Carrier, part number Y02621.To begin our test fit well set the carrier onto the trunk with the cradle arms towards the top of the trunk mount facing outward. Well then use the straps at the top of the carrier to hook to the top of the trunk and then straps towards the bottom of the carrier to hook to the bottom of the trunk and then pull the straps tight to secure the carrier in place.Once the carrier is tightened in place you can fold out the access strap and place it in a black clip.To load the bike, first, make sure that the cradle arms are level or at a level bit of an angle facing up then undo the cradle straps. Today on our 2011 Cadillac CTS, we'll be test fitting the Thule trunk bike rack part number TH9001. This is a very simple install requiring no tools. We'll simply set the trunk bike rack up as required by the fit instructions. We'll then secure the two upper cables to the deck led between the rear window and the deck led itself. With the upper cables in place, we'll go ahead and pop the trunk to secure the lower cables onto the deck led and with all the cables in the correct location we can simply tighten it down using the ratcheting crank knobs securing the bike rack to the vehicle. And in just those few easy steps, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle and we're ready to load the bike. more

Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2011 Cadillac CTS- Video

Today on our 2011 Cadillac CTS, we'll be test fitting the Yakima Quickback 2 trunk mounted bike rack part number Y02621. With our bike rack preassembled, we will first need to pop the trunk with the trunk pop, we can now simply set the bike rack on top of the deck led. We'll position the rubber bumpers so that the flat part is what makes contact with the deck led itself. A quick tech tip, before installing the bike rack make sure that the deck led is clean and maybe even waxed as this will help to protect the finish of the vehicle while the bike rack is installed. With the bike rack on the deck led, we'll simply attach the top cables to the lip of the deck led between the rear window and the deck led itself with the top tube nylon straps hooked into the deck led, this will hold the bike rack into place. We'll now go ahead and take the lower straps and attach them to the deck led. more

Okay what were going to do first is to sit the bike rack up on the front and secure the front to our top straps to the top of the deck lid.
