Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chain Review - 2006 Honda Odyssey

On this 2006 Honda Odyssey, we're going to review and install the Titan Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number TC1042. Now the tire size we're working with today weigh 235 by 65 by 16. All right, this is what our snow chains and our rubber adjusters look like when it's installed on our Honda Odyssey. This is good for vehicles with limited clearance between the tire and the bodywork, and the tire and the suspension components behind it. If we take a look at this crossbar right here, this pattern is a ladder pattern, so the chain looks like a ladder when it's completely flat. These rollers can move around and dig into the ice and snow, and work with the tire as needed. Now these are a great snow chain to keep in the back of the vehicle to get yourself out of a jam. These are designed for heavy snow and ice use. These chains are also DOT approved. more

Titan Chain Diamond Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2006 Honda Odyssey

On this 2006 Honda Odyssey, we're going to review and do a test of a titan chain alloy snow tire chains. Part number, TC1555, and for reference, we're working with tire size today of 235 by 65 by 16. First of, go ahead and look at the chain that sits on top of the tire. This is a low-profile class S chain which is good for vehicles with limited clearance between the tire and the body-work and also suspension for the respondent tire. The pattern on the chain is a diamond pattern here, but you can see one part of the diamond right here, then there is a short space and then another diamond pattern below and has repeated all the way around the tire. This gives a little bit more smoother ride compared to a regular latter type of a snow chain. The links themselves have angles on them except for inaudible 00:00:55 rounded. That gives a little better grip into ice and snow. This also has a built-in tensioner with this shock cord right here. more
