Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Cadillac SRX we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Kit. This is going to consist of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars, part number RRVA118B-2, and the Rhino-Rack SX Series Legs for the Vortex Aero Crossbars, part number RRSX001. Now these cross bars are also available in silver with part number RRVA118S-2.The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Kit is an aerodynamic roof rack system that allows you to free up space inside your vehicle by carrying your roof mounted accessories on your vehicle's raised rails. This is going to include bike racks, cargo boxes, cargo baskets, and ski and snowboard carriers. The end caps on our crossbars are lockable, and come with a key to lock those up. Now this is a plastic core, you can find metal lock cores available on our website with part number RRBA-LEC4 to change those to the metal lock cores.If we remove our end cap you can see the weather strip on the inside. more

This is going to consist of the Thule Aeroblade crossbars, part number THARB53, and the Thule Rapid Crossroad foot pack, part number TH450R. The crossbars are also available in black with part number THARB53B. The Thule roof rack system is an aerodynamic roof rack system that allows you to carry your vehicle accessories on your roof. This is going to be anything from bike rack, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, and ski and snowboard carriers. It's also going to empty up space inside your vehicle so you can carry more gear. more

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Cadillac SRX- Video

Today, on our 2011, Cadillac SRX, we'll be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System, part numbers THARB47 and TH450R. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of our roof. We'll place the front load bar as far up as possible next to where the raised side rails are flush up against the roof. We'll use this connection point to make sure that the front load bar is perpendicular to the roof and that it is even on both sides. Once we've established this position, we can then pop off the end caps to bring the rubber coated seal straps around the underside of our raised side rails. We'll then hook them back into position and use the included tensioning tool to turn the black bolt to bring the straps up around tightly against the load bar. more
