MaxxTow Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on this 2015 Ram 1500, we're going to show you the Max Tow truck bed ladder rack, part number MT70423. This is what the ladder rack looks like on a Ram truck. All right, let's go ahead and take a look at construction. First off, aside from the plastic caps on top, this is all aluminum construction, so it doesn't add too much weight to your vehicle and it is very easy to install. Okay, you know the shape of the ladder rack, it has an elliptical design, so it helps cut down on wind noise going down the road. All right, let's get a couple of quick measurements. From the bed rail to the top of the latter rack is going to be about 26 inches. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 RAM 1500 Quad Cab we're going to be installing the Thule Xsporter Adjustable-Height Truck Bed Ladder Rack and that is part number TH500XT. We already have our ladder rack pretty much fully installed on our truck but we wanted to show you the last clamp before it goes on. We've got all the parts laid out here. It's going to come with four of these rubber pads that will go underneath the feet of the rack, one for each foot. It's also going to come with eight of these clamps, two for each foot but each side is going to have one with this extra bracket and this is for the lock which you'll put each side, one for each bar. That lock, which is this piece here is just going to slide over the top there, secures with this key which is included and that's going to cover this Allen bolt so no one can take that off and leave with all your stuff. It's also going to come with eight of these little flanges that will go over the bolt to disperse that pressure as this gets tightened down so it doesn't cause any damage to your bed lining or your truck itself. It's just going to disperse that weight a little more evenly. With that it's also going to come with these two Allen bolts, this larger one is going to fit the bolt for the clamps as well as we come over here to the actual rack. more

TracRac TracONE Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Ram 1500, we're going to be doing a test fit of the TracRac TracONE Bed Mounted Ladder Rack System, it'll be part number TA2700-01. As you can see, we got it laid out here on the table and we already have one installed so you can see what it looks like in the bed of the truck. We're going to go about putting it altogether and installing it on the truck and I'll go through the parts. For each rack, you're going to have two rubber strips that are going to go underneath of the ends against your bed rail in case if you have a naked bed rack or bed rail and you don't have any caps or a bed liner. That way it protects your paint. Then, you're going to have your clamps, your C-clamps that will go over the ends, and if you look down here, I'll show you just how they go on. You'll have a flat piece here and then you'll have your C-clamp, normal style, but you'll have to set it above three threads up, place it over the bed rail before the rack, place the end on, and then slide it under the bed rail and where it meets up. I think it'll thread it in. You'll have two clamps for each side and then also I'll go over how to adjust it. more

Rola Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Ram 1500, we'll be doing a test fit of the Rola Pick-Up Bed Ladder Rack System. This is going to be part number 59742. I'm going to show you how to put it together and get that last one on here. As you can see up here on the ladder rack, we've already fit it to the bed width. Simply to do that, all you'll need to do is loosen up these and make sure you take off the end cap with your key. Then you'll be able to adjust it from side to side to fit whatever bed width you have. You can see the front one's already on here. more
