Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 GMC Acadia 118271- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 GMC Acadia, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness for factory tow package with a 7-way trailer connector, part number 118271. To help us what our installation. We're going to be using the Pollack mounting bracket and installation hardware for 7-pole and RV style trailer connectors. Here's what our wiring is going to look like once we have it installed.Now, I do want to mention that the bracket is sold separately, but you can pick it up here at etrailer.com. Our wiring's going to provide us with the 7-way RV style trailer connector. Which is going to give us all of our lighting functions like our stop lights, our taillights, and our turn signals, as well as the option of putting a brake controller later, if our trailer has electric brakes.Now it's going to have this nice dust cover that's spring loaded to keep all the dirt and debris out, make sure we don't get any water or moisture buildup inside. more
