How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2013 Volvo XC70, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver. Since Volvos are really versatile vehicles, many of our XC70 customers, to use their cars to do a little bit of everything. With the hitch in place, now we're gonna be able to tow our trailer or use it to carry accessories. We're not gonna have to reach up on the roof and store everything up there. But what I really like about this one is the fact that it's more or less completely hidden. more

Best 2013 Volvo XC70 Hitch Options

Today we'll be taking a look at the best hitch options available for the 2013 Volvo XC70. Your first option available is going to be your Curt class two receiver with the inch and a quarter insert, part number C12066. Your second option is going to be your Hidden Hitch class three receiver with the two by two inch receiver and that's going to be part number 87674. Your third choice is going to be your Draw-Tite and that's going to be very similar to the Hidden Hitch above. That's going to be part number 75916. The bottom one down here is going to be your Curt class three with the two by two inch receiver part number 13266. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Volvo XC70 - Curt

Today on our 2013 Volve XE70, we will be taking a look and installing the Curt trailer hitch receiver, part number 13266. Now we will go ahead and get a few measurements to help you in selecting ball mounts, bike racks and cargo carriers. From the center of the pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper, it's going to be about 5 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground, it's going to be about 13 3/4 inches. This is what our trailer hitch is going to look like once it's installed. Nice, sleek and tucked away under the bottom side of the bumper, the main mounting hardware attached to the bumper on the backside, with the drop-down like so. more
