Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Mazda CX-5 - Curt- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Mazda CX5 we're going to be installing CURT's Class 2 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver, part number C12170. This is what your hitch is going to look like when it's installed. The cross tube's going to be hidden mostly behind the bumper so really you're only going to be able to see the receiving tube here so it won't distract from the looks of the vehicle. It's a Class 2 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver, so it's going to be good for bike racks, cargo carriers, and for light towing. It uses a 1/2" hitch pin. One does not come included, but you can pick one up here at Etrailer.com. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Mazda CX5 we're going to be installing CURT's Class 3 2" trailer hitch receiver, part number C13315. This is what your hitch is going to look like when it's installed on the vehicle. The crosstube is going to be completely hidden behind the bumper so you're only going to see the receiver at the end. It's a Class 3 2" by 2" receiver so it's going to be suitable for all of your needs, such as carrying bike racks, cargo carriers, or for towing.It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. One's not included but can be picked up here at Etrailer.com. It features hoop-style safety chain loops. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Mazda CX-5 - Draw-Tite- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Mazda CX5 we're going to be installing Draw-Tite's Class 2 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver, part number 36601. This is what it's going to look like when it's installed. The crosstube's going to be hidden behind the bumper so you're only going to be able to see the receiving tube sticking out the end. It's a Class 2 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver, which is going to be great for bike racks, cargo carriers, and for very light towing. It uses a 1/2" hitch pin. Today in our 2013 Mazda CX-5, well be installing the Curt Hitch part number C13127. This is what our hitch will look like once its installed. Next, well go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 3-1/4. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 12. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. more

Today on this 2013 Mazda CX5, were going to install part number C12080 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the vehicle. Next well go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. Top of the receive opening down to the ground 13 inches. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the edge of the bumper will be about 2 inches. Now Ill go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. The first thing we need to do is lower the exhaust out of our way. more
