Best 2012 Ford Focus Hitch Options- Video
Today we'll be looking at the best hitch options on the 2012 Ford Focus. Now we have two hitches here today. The top we have a Draw-Tite class one 1-1/4" receiver, part number 24872. On the bottom we have a CURT class one 1-1/4" receiver, part number C11158. Now both of these hitches will work on either the sedan or the hatchback models. If you have an ST model, that will require a different hitch. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Ford Focus - Curt- Video
All right, today on our 2012 Ford Focus, we're going to install part number C11158 from Curt. All right, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the car. Next, we'll give you some measurements that'll help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 10-3/4", and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 4-3/4". Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we're going to do is go ahead and lower the exhaust. There'll be four bolts that we have to remove. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Ford Focus - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2012 Ford Focus we will be installing Draw-Tite hitch, part number 24872. Before we begin our installation here is what the hitch will look like on your vehicle. Now we will give a couple of measurements to help you in selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most part of the bumper is 2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11 inches. Now lets go ahead with our install. more
