Yakima FatCat Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2014 Ford Expedition

Today on our 2014 Ford Expedition, were going to be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6, a locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier with a 6 ski or 4 board capacity. Its part number is Y03088. With the factory roof rack already on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier. Well place the carrier under our front load bar, bring the black rubber coated metal strap around the underside of our bar, fit it back into the foot of the carrier and clip it closed. Well now open the upper jaw on the carrier, where we can lift the black lever, tighten it slightly and push it back down to secure our buckle with the gray catch. Well now move to the drivers side of the vehicle and well repeat the same process. With our front secure, its now time to grab the back half, place it under our rear load bar and complete the same tightening process that we used on the front here at the rear. With our carrier secure, were ready to load up our gear. Well begin by opening our jaws, well slide in our snowboard, then grab our skis and slide them in. more
