Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ram 3500 we'll be having a look at our best gooseneck hitch options. We have three gooseneck hitches here today. This one is our B&W Turnover Ball underbed gooseneck, part number BWGNRK1314. This one in the middle is our Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose underbed gooseneck, part number 9466. This one here is our CURT underbed gooseneck, part number C60626.Now the first biggest difference that we noticed between our hitches here today is in regards to the ability of towing a fifth wheel trailer as well as a gooseneck trailer. Some gooseneck hitches out there have the ability to have a fifth wheel hitch be inserted inside the socket where the ball goes, and you can tow a fifth wheel trailer as well. more

Today on our 2017 Ram 3500 we're going to be taking a look at the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for a RAM OEM 5th wheel towing prep packages. Part number DM6099. Here's where our base rails look like installed in our truck. As you can see, they're going to utilize our factory mounting points into the under-bed installation kit that was provided from the factory. This kit is going to allow you to tow using a 5th wheel trailer hitch that mounts to above-bed rails. It's made of a steel construction and it has a black powder coat finish so it's going to resist corrosion and rust. more

Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Ram 3500

Today on our 2017 Ram 3500, we'll be installing the B&W Turnover Ball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, with custom installation kit, part number BWGNRK1314. Now when we don't want to tow our gooseneck trailer and we want to store our ball in a stored position, so we have full access to our truck bed, you just pull the handle out, latch in position, raise it up, grab it, grab this handle here, drop it on down, and you can see it sits flush with the bed. Let's put it back in our tow mode now. Pull it out, flip it over, drop it in. I'll secure our latch real quick. Move it to the right, push it on in. Here with the ball latch inaudible 00:00:52, you can see the ball's not going anywhere, so we hook our trailer up, we couple onto the ball, hook our safety chains up to our loops. more
