Pro Series  Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe

Today on our 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe we will be test fitting the Pro Series solo cargo carrier. That's part number PS1040100. It has dimensions of thirty-one by forty-seven, it has a max capacity of four hundred pounds and it's for two inch hitches only. We're going to start by inserting our shank into our receiver and we're looking for our pin holes to be lined up. All right, once we have that lined up we'll go ahead and insert our included pin and clip and we can take a few measurements. Starting with our nearest point, it'll be about nine inches from here to our bumper. Overall we've added forty-one and a half inches to our vehicle and four our ground clearance we're looking for about sixteen inches right here. We can go ahead and check for our break over point, that's going to be right at twenty inches before our rear hatch breaks over our cargo carrier. more

Today on our 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe we will be test fitting the MaxxTow Aluminum Cargo Carrier, that's part number MT70108. Now it's max capacity is 500 pounds and it's dimensions are 20" by 47". It's also for 2" hitches only. We can go ahead and start by inserting our shank into our receiver and we're looking for our pin holes to be lined up. Once we have that lined up, we'll take our included pin and clip and then we can take a few measurements. Starting with our nearest point it'll be about 6" from here to our bumper. Overall we've added 29" to our vehicle. For our ground clearance, about 13" right here. more

Wait for our pin holes to be lined up and we'll take our included anti rattle bolt and pin and we thread that through and we'll finish tightening that with our wrench and by tightening this it's going to help reduce any play or rattle within our hitch in our cargo carrier. more

Has a max capacity of 450 pounds and it's for 2 inch hitches only. We can go ahead and start by inserting our shank into our receiver and we are looking for our pin holes to be lined up. All right once we have that lined up, we can take our anti rattle bolt and pin and begin threading that through. We can go ahead and finish tightening that down with our socket wrench and by tightening this it's going to help reduce any play or rattle within our hitch and our carrier. more
