Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best gooseneck hitches available for the 2013 Chevy Silverado. Let's take a look through the three hitches that we've got picked out. We've got our Curt Double Lock, we've got the B & W Turnover Ball, and we're also going to have the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose. All three of these hitches are under-bed mount. This is the ideal solution for goosenecks, rather than the old ball that always stuck up in the middle of the bed. These allow us full access to use our truck bed as we want to. more

All right, here's what our gooseneck hitch looks like installed once it's in the storage position on our Chevy Silverado here. As you can see, it doesn't stick up to very far at all above our bed floor, so when we need to load like a sheet of plywood or dry wall or something into our truck bed, it's not going to get in the way of that and cause any damage to it. It sits basically flush with the raised rails here on our bed floor. We have our nice spring loaded safety chain loops for when we need to attach safety chains on our gooseneck trailer. more

Then, once we want to move our ball into the stored position, we'll go ahead and unlock the handle again, turn the ball over, and relock the handle. Now, to begin our install, we've already gone ahead and lowered and removed the spare tire and raised the vehicle up and removed both rear wheels. While it's not mandatory to do this for the install, it will make it a lot easier and give us more working room, both in the wheel wells and underneath. Next, we're going to lower the exhaust.
