How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Konig XD-16 Pro Tire Chains on our 2023 Rivian R1T. Now, when you look at traction devices like tire chains, this is gonna basically help you when you're in ice and snow in those rugged areas where you have low traction. Just a little bit of FYIs with the setup, on the 275/65R20. The manual recommends that you do not use tire chains, but I've found that you do have enough clearance back here in the wheel well, or you can make connections and you not have any interference with any of the mechanisms behind your wheel. So R1T is also in the highest ride setting, so you are gonna be limited as far as your speed and you should be going at low speed with tire chains anyway, so you're not gonna have any negative effect with that. So the way that it actually wraps around your tire, there is a connection right back in here, and I can put my entire hand without making contact to anything in the wheel well. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Titan Chains tire chains with assisted tensioning on our 2023 Rivian R1T. Now, the reason that you're gonna want to add tire chains to your vehicle is to give you that additional traction in low traction situations like snow or ice. Now, according to Rivian's manual, the 275/65R20 tire should not have tire chains on here, but I was able to fit these guys on, and I see that there's no interference within the wheel well. Also, another thing to consider is the fact that I do have the air suspension set to the highest ride height. When you add tire chains to your vehicle, you're supposed to go at low speed, so you shouldn't have any issue being at your higher setting. And again, it's pretty clear in this space. more

Hey neighbors, how's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Titan Chains tire chains with cam adjusters on our 2023 Rivian R1T. Now, adding tire chains to your vehicle is gonna help you out in low traction situations like ice or snow. Going off of your owner's manual, if you have tire size what, 275/65R20, that tire size is actually not recommended to have tire chains installed. Even these thick, heavy duty chains still clear everything in the back of the wheel well with the truck suspension in its highest height. So going down the road, you're going at low speed so it shouldn't be any issues or interference. So as far as the way your chain's installed, they actually just drape over your wheel. more
