Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer.com SD tow bar here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator.Our tow bar, what it essentially does is it's going to be the physical connection between our towed vehicle and our motorhome while we're driving down the road. As you can see here, we have two connections to the vehicle, in particular, our base plates, one on either side, and then we have our connection to the motorhome here, which is via the shank inside the receiver tube opening on our trailer hitch. Our tow bar is an important part of our flat tow setup because, as we just went over, it's going to be the physical connection between our towed vehicle and our motorhome. So it's very important that you get a good quality product, which is what we have here in the etrailer SD tow bar.One of the notable features about this particular tow bar, which really sets it apart from its competitors such as Blue Ox and Roadmaster, is that the arms that actually get inserted into the base plate kit, those are going to be physically installed on our tow bar. more

Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the Blue Ox Ascent tow bar. This gives you that safe connection between your RV and your towing vehicle. It's going to give you even amount of force being put on your tow bar or your base plate, so that you don't have to worry about any kind of damage happening to your frame. Also, since this is a little bit longer than your typical length of arms, it should help you to get more maneuverability between your towed vehicle and your RV. You don't have to worry about your RV coming in contact with that towed vehicle if you're making a really tight turn, just give you a little bit more room to maneuver and get around stuff, especially like gas pumps and things like that just gives you a wider range.The length from the hitch pin hole, the closest one here to the attachment point to your base plate, whenever it's all the way extended out, it's about 51 inches. If you put it at the second hole hitch pin hole here, that adds two inches on to there. more

So the Falcon 2 Tow Bar is an excellent option for any vehicle. Definitely, this Jeep here in particular.If we take a look at the arms here, particularly the inner portion of the arms, the silver rod, you're going to see where a little bit offset on each side. Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar here on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler.So we can see here, we have a nice, shiny black powder-coated finish, which is really going to help it blend in with both the motorhome and the towed vehicle, as well as provide us with some protection from rust and corrosion.So the Falcon 2 Tow Bar is an excellent option for any vehicle. Definitely this Jeep here, in particular. If we take a look at the arms here, particularly the inner portion of the arms, the silver rod, you're going to see we're a little bit offset on each side. We're going to have much more of our arm showing over here than we do on this side. And basically what this is going to come down to is, when we pull forward, because this tow bar has a self-centering design, both of these arms are going to evenly extend outward and lock into place. more

As you can see here we have a nice shiny black powder-coated finish. It really just looks really well, bridging the gap between our motor home and our towed vehicle. So in regards to Blue Ox tow bars, the Alpha 2 is going to be the perfect option for our Jeep Wrangler due to it's 6,500 pound capacity. Hi there Jeep owners. Today on your 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmasters Falcon All-Terrain tow bar. There's five main components you'll need when flat towing your Jeep behind your motorhome, you'll need your tow bar, which is the connection between your motorhome and your vehicle you'll need your safety cables, which is a supplemental connection in addition to our tow bar.We'll need our base plate, which is the connection point on our vehicle so we can attach our tow bar to it, to pull it behind our motor home. It also needs your diode wiring, which takes all of the lighting signals from your motor home and transfers them to the lights at the back of the vehicle. So people behind you know your intentions when going down the road, and lastly you'll need your supplemental braking system, which will apply the brakes in your vehicle when you hit them in your motor home to help you come to a safe stop.The Falcon All-Terrain is one of my top pick tow bars. It's not the best tow bar out there, but it's got all the features that I would want in a tow bar. more

When flat towing your vehicle behind your motor home, there's five main components you'll need to do so.First is our tow bar, which is our attachment between our motor home and our vehicle.
