Today, on our 2008 Ford F350, we're going to be test fitting the TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part number TA27000-01. The TracRac Ladder Rack is perfect for carrying those elongated loads such as lumber, ladders, or even a kayak. Now, the crossbars are 65" long. The system's going to have an 800 lb. Weight capacity, and it's going to work with most trucks. The crossbars do also have channels on the top and the bottom, so you can carry any of your T-channel accessories. It does come with four adjustable load stops, so you'll be able to easily secure your load. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford F350, we're going to be test fitting a Thule Xsporter Pro Ladder Rack, part number TH500XT. This ladder rack is going to be great for carrying elongated loads such as ladders, lumbers or even a canoe or a kayak. The cross bars are 72" long. The whole system has a weight capacity of 450 pounds. One of the really nice features of this ladder rack, it does have an adjustable height. To adjust the height simply loosen the knob on each side. Now with the knobs loosened, we can simply slide the ladder rack down. more

Today in our 2013 Ford F-150, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Erikson Truck Bed Ladder Rack with load stops. Part number EM07706. Now this heavy duty ladder rack is going to let you carry ladders, lumber, and just about anything that's long that you want to put on top of your vehicle. With our adjustable load stops here, you're always going to make sure that they're not going to slide off by just adjusting them in against the sides of your load. It's also going to have these convenient tie down cleats so if you had a large load tied on there, you can just take your rope and you'll wrap it around the cleat to help keep it in place. You can carry anything from ladders, to lumber, to con-well pipe, anything you can think of for the job site, as well as, kayaks or even other water sport carriers. Excuse me. You can tie them down by using these tie down points here, which you can loosen up and slide back and forth on the track rack on the top of the rack. It does have a nice aerodynamic shape on both bars, which is going to cut down your wind noise and drag while you're driving. It can be adjusted for varying truck bed widths by loosening up these two Allen head bolts on the top of the legs, and that's going to be for each of the legs. How it attaches to the truck bed, excuse me, is you're going to be using these two C-clamps here, and it's going to be the same for all feet. There is going to be no drilling required to actually install this. We are going to go ahead and show you how the last two go on. more

It does fit varying truck bed widths by loosening up two allen head bolts on each leg and making your adjustments. It also is adjusted by height with these quick dial knobs, which you can see these large black knobs on each foot. more

This has a weight capacity of 800 lbs. and is good for hauling anything from your ladders, to lumber, to conduit pipe, whatever you can think of. Now, it's made from a good solid aluminum construction. The cross bars up top are actually kind of nice and aerodynamically shaped so it will cut down on wind noise and drag. It comes with tie downs on both bars, which you can move by loosening the knobs at the bottom, and it's actually slides along this T-track underneath. It's the same concept if you need to adjust for different truck bed widths with these 2 knobs here, and of course these are going to be at all of the feet of the ladder rack. more

Today on this 2000 Ford F150, we're going to review the Track Rack Track One, Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part number TA27000-01. With our typical ladder in place, you can see how much it raises above the bed of the truck, and also, you get lots of clearance, probably about six inches or so, above the cab, in case your ladder went over the cab of the truck. I also want you to know, if you can put all your load on top of your ladder rack, it actually allows you full view out the back of your vehicle, if you don't have anything in the bed of your truck. With our typical ladder in place, you're not only limited to that. You can also use it for lumber, or anything else long, such as plastic piping that you can't keep in the bed of your truck. Starting from the top, you can see that it has a built-in tie-down point here, and on the other side of our ladder, as well. The straps that we're using do not come with the ladder rack. more

Now, to attach this to your truck bed it uses a clamp system, which you'll have 2 clamps per each side. more

This is a fixed height, and it has these nice aerodynamic bars, which cut down wind noise and drag. It has these little channels here, where the four tie-downs that come with it can slide up and down, and then tighten down to accommodate whatever accessory that you have on top. It is adjustable for various truck bed widths, with these bolts here and here. You loosen those up on both sides, you move them in or out to whatever you need. It does clamp to your bed rails using two clamps per foot on all of them. This means that this is a no-drill install. All you're going to need is a 7/32 Allen head bit. Let's go ahead and put the last two on, and show you how that looks. more

It also comes with a rubber strip, to put into the T slot to also cut down the noise but also jeep out dirt and grime while you're driving. This is adjustable to fit various truck bed widths by loosening up this bolt here, and this bolt on the other side. You can push it in or out, whatever you need to do for you truck bed. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack, Part Number EM07707. The Erickson Over-The-Cab Steel Ladder Rack is going to allow you to carry long items on top, such as pipes, ladders, lumber, and other long cargo. Unlike many other ladder racks, it's going to extend well beyond the back of the cab and almost to the front windshield, giving you extra support over the front of your cab for those heavy loads. The ladder rack is also going to feature a raised side rail that's going to keep your cargo from shifting off your truck bed. We have two Allen bolts up here that actually you're going to unloose and adjust to your width of your truck itself. You just unloosen them and tie them back down. We also have on the other side our air load stops. more

TracRac TracONE Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford F350 we're doing a test fit of the TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack part number TA27000-01. Now we already have it on our vehicle. I would like to show you a few features of it. Now you can see it's pretty much almost parallel with our cab. Now the good thing about this, it's aerodynamic. It's going to keep the wind from making a lot of noise. Now it also has the tie-downs up here. more

Today on our 2016 Ford F-250 we are doing a test fit of the TracRac Track One Ladder Rack system, part number ta27000-01. Now we already have our front half of our ladder rack secured down. we've got our driver side of our back rack, back part of our rack secured down. So we are just going to show you our passenger side over here. Now we are going to take our first clamp. We are just going to fit that all the way to the edge, then we are going to take our wing nut and place that on top of our bolt down there. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford F-250, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Xsporter Pro ladder rack. That part number is TH500XT. We've already got our front ladder rack up and secure. We have one side of our back portion secured, so we're just going to show you this passenger side over here. The first thing we'll do is take our plain clamp here and we're just going to slide it just up under that lip and onto our ladder rack. We want it as close to the rack as we can get it and then we're going to take our wing nut here and fit that on top of our bolt. You may have to move that around a bit just to get that in the right spot. more

TracRac Steel Rac Truck Bed Ladder Rack Review- Video
Today we are looking at the TracRac universal steel rack truck bed ladder rack with over-the-cab extension, part number TA91000. The built in over-the-cab extension provides additional support for extra long loads. Now that we have our ladder in place, I'll show you a few nice features about this; plenty of places to wrap our strap around. This is just a generic cam buckle strap you can strap to any point on here and it's going to give you nice, solid sturdy place to strap. As you can see, down here we have our welded on cleats that's great for ratchet straps. Threw a ratchet strap over the top onto our other cleat, and to tie off my slack just so it's not waving in the wind, I wrapped it around our nice cross bar here, that way our ladder keeps from jumping up and down as well. When installing, this fits most full size truck beds. This bar, if you loosen up these four bolts, can move back and forth, obviously you have to do this side and the other side. Get a partner and move them at the same time. more

Rola Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford F-150 we're doing a test fit of the roller truck bed ladder rack. That part number is 59742. This ladder rack is designed to work with up to 400 pounds, and we've already got three of our four sides down and connected so we're just going to do our last two clamps over here on our passenger side in the rear. You're going to set the clamps down here. If we take a look at them we will bolt and then wing nut at the top here. What we'll do is we'll sit it around our tuck bed and then we'll start by taking down our bolt. That's going to push that piece just up so it's sitting up against the truck bed. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2005 Ford F-150- Video
Today in our 2005 F150, we're testing the Tulley Exporter Pro, the Truck Bed Ladder Rack and it has the capacity to hold up to 450 lbs. Part # for that is TH500XT. Now this is a great clap on style ladder rack, there easy to install. We also have this pad here that goes underneath the rack so that you won't damage your truck bed there. So we're going to go head and climb up in our bed. Now we do have 2 different types of claps, we have our back clap that's where the lock is going to slide into. more

Today on this 2008 Nissan Frontier, we're going to show you the TracRac TracOne truck bed ladder rack. Part number TA27000-01. This is what the TracRac looks like when it is installed on our Nissan Frontier. Very lightweight and easy to work with to install on a vehicle because it's all aluminum construction. In all this aluminum it also has a clear coat on top of it, so this will withstand a lot of abuse from tools being thrown in and out of the truck.
