Male: Today we're going to take a look at MB Sturgis 48-inch RV Dual Quick Connect Hose. This hose will connect small portable camping appliance to your RV's piping system. It allows complete breakdown of the appliance and the hose. This is compatible with the MB Sturgis Model 250, the Cast Industries 00:00:16, the Gasmate, and the Gas Flow Quick Disconnect. The hose itself is a thermoplastic construction, has a quarter-inch inner diameter, all the fittings on each end. Right here if I take the plug out, this is the quarter-inch female quick disconnect end, and on the other end, take the cover off it, it's a quarter-inch male quick disconnect plug. Now this quick disconnect plug, just to show you how this would work, I happened to pull a fitting that had the MB Sturgis Model 250 design fitting on it, you can see right here, so if you take your cover off, you have your lever here. What you'll do is rotate this lever so that actually closes the valve to keep anything, to block off any flow there, and then you have your quick disconnect. You just take the end of your disconnect, pull this back, stick it in there and then you'll see it makes your connection very simple and easy, and no tools are required, and then you just push that to its end line and that'll release the valve in there, will release the flow of the propane. more

Today we're going to take a look at the MB Sturgis 120" RV Quick Connect Propane Hose. This quick connect propane hose is compatible with MB Sturgis model 250, it'll work on Cast Industries, Gas-Mate, and Gas Flow quick disconnects. This is a thermal plastic construction, has 1/4" inner diameter. The ends on this, this end you can see is the 1" male swivel connection, on the other end, if we take the cap off you can see, it is the 1/4" male model 250 quick disconnect plug. What this is designed to fit on is, I happened to pull a fitting here that has the MB Sturgis model 250 quick disconnect, and what's nice about that, there's no tools required. All you have to do is you'll see there's a lever right here, you just push this lever which will close the valve in there, take your plug out and then you'll notice you'll be able to do your quick disconnect. The end of this hose just slide right in there and then you make your quick disconnect, no tools needed and then you just turn that lever inline and that'll allow the propane to flow through. more

This is a thermoplastic construction, has a 1/4-inch inner diameter, and the connectors on the end, on this end is the POL talk connector, and on this end is the model 250 male quick disconnect plug. This hose will connect your auxiliary propane cylinder to a model 250 Sturgi-Stay quick disconnect. I happened to pull a fitting here that has the model 250 Sturgi-Stay quick disconnect, just to show you how this plugs in. Basically, all you have to do is pop out the plug, and then you'll see this little lever here. You move this lever 90 degrees to the fitting and that'll close the ball valve right there. It'll allow you to then make your connection. more

MB Sturgis Propane - Regulators - 108220 Review- Video
Today we're going to take a look at the MB Sturgis 2-stage Propane Regulator. It has an 11" water column outlet and a vertical vent. This will connect your propane cylinder to the LP gas piping system. This end has the 1/4" female inverted flare inlet and on this end a 3/8" female end PT outlet and it has an 11" water column outlet. This is a vertical vent opening, you can see the vent is at the 6 o'clock position and any time you use or install this for an outdoor, this vent opening should always be vertically down. You can see with the vent in the 6 o'clock position, it makes this a vertical vent opening. This does use a high flow rate and ability to maintain 9" water column pressure at extremely high demand. more

This regulator is going to maintain a constant gas pressure from your camper's propane tank. Two stages are going to ensure a smooth, consistent flow of gas. This is a horizontal mount. We can tell that because the vent is here on the bottom, and your vent is always designed to be facing downward to prevent anything from getting inside.
