Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited. Now the cargo carrier is gonna be a great way to carry extra stuff with you, especially in our Traverse, if you've got that third row seats up, cargo space is limited. So if you're going on a trip with some people, you gotta put the stuff somewhere. And for me, the hitch is one of the best places you can put it because you've got a good weight capacity and a good amount of space. To be more specific with that space, our usable dimensions, front to back, are 20 1/2 inches, and from side to side, we're working with 47 1/2 inches. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the REESE hitch mounted cargo carrier, and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited. Now, a cargo carrier is a great way to get some extra stuff with you on either a road trip, or just carry some messy stuff with you that you don't wanna put in your vehicle, say, trips to the hardware store, bags of mulch, concrete, soil, things that tend to rip and make a mess, you can keep it out here. I know my father-in-law personally uses his a lot for stuff like that, because it's a lot easier to clean this off with the hose than it is to vacuum out the carpet in your vehicle. But this option from REESE is going to be a pretty good entry-level choice, because there's not a whole lot to it, but it does offer you a good amount of space. more

What sets this carrier apart from other carriers is the fact that it has the included ramp. You can deploy the ramp by removing the safety pins and retaining arms, just by pulling and removing. The person that's gonna want to add a cargo basket to the back of their Armada is someone that understands that the Armada's more geared towards moving passengers, whereas it leaves you limited as far as your cargo space. So this is gonna allow you to use the back area of your vehicle and take advantage of your hitch to get more things on the road with your journey. Your basket is constructed of extruded aluminum, and what that means, it's gonna be a lot sturdier than cast aluminum. You're gonna have solid tie-down points at the top, as well as the strips on the side to give you additional stability across your basket. Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2023 Kia Sportage- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Curt Cargo basket on our 2023 Kia Sportage. Going with a cargo basket is an easy way to increase the amount of cargo you can bring along for your journey. With compact SUVs like the Sportage, cargo space is at a premium, so this is gonna allow you to get your bigger bulkier items outside of the vehicle to increase how many things you can bring with you. Our carrier is constructed of powder coated stainless and you're gonna have reflector tape on both sides to help increase your visibility. Along the sides, you actually have nice tubular steel that's gonna give you solid tie-down points for your ratchet straps and bungee cords. And at the bottom you have this mesh floor and what that's gonna do for you is help contain those smaller, more fine items. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Basket on the back of our 2023 Kia Sportage. What a cargo basket is gonna do for you, especially in a vehicle that's more like one of these compact SUVs, it's gonna allow you to get an increase on your capacity for cargo. You can have a space for those bigger, bulkier items or those heavier dirty items that you just don't want to get in the interior of your vehicle. Our carrier is constructed of extruded aluminum, which is gonna give you a lot more stability as far as the pressures of being on the road and holding your gear. On the back here, you can see that you have two additional reflectors that are gonna help you keep your visibility up and a nice solid post along the sides to tie down if you have any things like ratchet straps or bungee cords. The bottom of your tray is pretty open, so if you have some smaller, finer items, you may want to use a cargo bag or look for an option that has more of a mesh bottom to it. more

Adding a cargo carrier to the back of your vehicle is a great way to increase your cargo area. When you have a compact SUV like the Kia Sportage, this is a great way to make it work for getting those bigger, bulkier items or even possibly dirty items that you don't want getting your nice vehicle all filthy. Taking a closer look at the construction, we have a powder coated stainless steel with a gloss finish that's gonna hold up against corrosion and just the elements of being out on the road. Another cool feature is the fact that you have welded on brackets if you wanted to add additional taillights for higher visibility. Along the sides you're gonna have great tie-down points that are welded into the frame. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have our Inno Quick Base system for your two inch hitch receiver. Today we have a kit with a gear carrier, six cubic feet cargo box mounted to our Quick Base tray. This configuration is gonna be a very fast way for adding cargo space, but also if you're the type of person that wants your cargo with you wherever you go, this is just gonna be like an oversized suitcase mounted to your hitch. Today we are focusing on how it fits on our Kia Seltos here though. So some things to note is it does sit slightly close to the ground, so you do have to be mindful of ground clearance. But a good thing is that you have a lot of clearance for your vehicle. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Reese steel cargo basket on the back of our 2022 Nissan Armada. A cargo basket is gonna be a great option to increase your ability to transport cargo, your larger items, heavier items, and some of those dirty, bulky items that just wouldn't want inside of your vehicle. With the Armada focus mostly being on passengers and having a limited amount of cargo space, a cargo basket is a great option to increase that. It's constructed of powder-coated steel that's gonna hold up against the elements and you know, basically anything you throw at it. Has a nice, mesh steel floor to it that's gonna hold those smaller items that you may pack alongside. And you have really sturdy tie-down points and supports on the side. more

Now, as for what this can carry, this is gonna be able to carry up to 500 pounds, but I still recommend checking what the tongue weight of your RV is. As for the dimensions of what it can carry for the length, that's gonna be a little bit over 21 inches. The width is gonna be a little bit over 48 inches. And as for the height, that's gonna be a little bit over two inches. more

Right off the bat, if you're looking for something to expand your cargo space on your Sorento, the Reese is probably one of the most popular cargo carriers here at Etrailer. That's because it creates all this space. You have five feet of length, you have a solid steel carrier, plus this fits into your two inch hitch very easily. The one downside I have for this carrier is you do have to get your own hitch pin and because it's a hitch pin, you are gonna have a bit of wobble. more

So you're already gonna be limited on space anyways, or if you have any items that you don't wanna put back here, anything like if you go hunting and you get some game and you don't want in the back bleeding all over the place, there's gonna be a great spot to put it. So let's take a closer look at those specs. We're gonna have a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds and with this steel construction is gonna be able to hold up to that and we're gonna have this black powder coat finished that's gonna help prevent it from rusting.
