Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best towing mirror options for your 2016 Ram 1500. Over here we're going to have the clip-on towing mirrors, here's going to be a door-mount, and these are going to be a slide-on.Let's talk about our clip-on mirrors first. Going to install the same, they're going to clip onto your factory housing. It's going to have a strap that comes around the back of your mirror and clips onto the top of the arm. The difference between them is this one here is going to have a rubber foot and it's also going to ratchet. Whereas this one is going to clip on and it's just going to have a pull strap to tighten it to how you need.Now the difference between our clip-on mirrors, as opposed to this one, is this one's going to mount directly to the door. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2016 RAM 1500 we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA Dual View Clip On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Between both the larger and the smaller mirror you get the same picture, just a slightly more clear and closer view in the larger one. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. Both the larger and the smaller mirror can be adjusted to most angles. more

CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 1500, we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA Universal Clip-on Towing Mirror. Part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely, easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it setup. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 1500 Series, we'll be doing a test fit on the K Source Universal Clip-on Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. The mirror does come in a quantity of one, so if you'd like to pick up a second one for the passenger side, just use the same part number. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my boat trailer here, this is the view you would get with just your factory mirror. It has a 7 3/4" tall mirror by 5 1/8" wide and can be adjusted to most angles. more

K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 1500 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the K Source custom towing mirrors for your driver and passenger side, Part Number KS80710. Our mirror is going to have full range of motion, going outwards, down, up, and almost completely rotate around, giving us the full view that we're going to need to have to see whatever we're towing. The nice thing about it is it isn't going to interfere with our factory mirror, or it's operation at all. With that very unique snap on design, it's going to make it really quick and easy for you, and you aren't going to have to tighten down any straps, or turn any turn knobs, or anything like that. All you're going to have to do is push it around till it clicks in place and it's going to be nice an secure. You can see with me even pulling on that it isn't going to go anywhere. It gives you full functionality, so you can tuck it in when you're in a tight parking space, pull it out, do what you need to do, and still have that factory style and design of your mirrors. With that hard plastic that's going to be almost identical to the construction of our factory mirrors, preventing any kind of rust and corrosion, and standing up against the elements as you're towing your trailers for long distances. When we're ready to tow our vehicles it's going to be imperative that we have our K Source towing mirrors. more

CIPA Passenger Side Towing Mirrors Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2016 RAM 1500 we'll be taking a look at and installing the Cepa Custom Towing Mirror for the passenger side, Part Number CM11402. Here you can see me directly aligned with the passenger side back end of our vehicle. This is going to be where you're going to want to see if you're going to be towing. If you're going to be towing something that's going to be a little bit bigger, you're going to want to see a little bit further out, and the Cepa custom towing mirrors are going to be perfect for that. Now you can see me in our Cepa custom towing mirror. The first thing we're going to do in preparation for applying our new mirror is to go ahead and clean the surface to make sure that we don't scratch our factory mirror. We'll use a little application solution of soapy water and a rag to rinse those off and make sure they're nice and clean. Once we have both mirrors nice and clean we'll go ahead and slide it over. more

Here you see me me in our factory mirror, lined up with the edge of the truck. If we step outside of that, and if we're going to be hauling something that's a little bit wider, we're going to be able to see it. In order to do so, and still maintain that straight contact with our factory mirror, we're going to be using our CIPA towing mirrors. If we're going to be parking in a tight parking space, or we're going to need room to get around, it's just as easy to use this as you would your factory mirror. Push it in or pull it out. Again, it's going to have a very durable construction and match the contour lines of our factory mirror. You'll see that it's going to be nice and contour to go completely around our factory mirror and not interfere at all. more

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 1500, we will be taking a look at and installing the Long View custom tow mirrors. Now, these are going to be for your driver and passenger side, and be part number LVT-3100C. These are going to have the multi-directional mirror that you can adjust all four directions to get whatever angle you're going to need to get to get those wider shots on your trailer in those wide turns. Other than that, it's going to have a nice hard plastic construction that's going to be similar to the material used on the factory mirror, offering a nice finish just like the factory mirror does, as well, and even an accent bird on the backside to give you a little bit of style while you're driving down the road. Super easy installation, it's going to have a nice, sleek, yet rugged design. First thing we're going to want to do is clean off the back side of our mirror, so that way we don't have any grime or residue before we slide over our mirror, so we don't get any scratches. Once we've done that, we'll take our mirror, locate which one's going to be for the left and right. more

Today on our 2016 Ram 1500, we will be taking a look at and installing the CIPA custom towing mirrors for the driver and passenger side, part number CM11400, and here you see me in our factory mirror lined up with the edge of the truck. If we step outside of that and if we're going to be hauling something that's going to be a little bit wider, we're going to need to be able to see it, so in order to do so and still maintain that straight contact with our factory mirror, we're going to be using our CIPA custom towing mirrors, and if we're going to be parking in a tight parking space or we're going to need room to get around, it's just as easy to use this just as you would your factory mirror and push it in or pull it out. Again, it's going to have a very durable construction and match the contour lines of our factory mirrors. You'll see that it's going to be nice in contour to go completely around our factory mirror and not interfere at all, giving us full operation of our factory mirror as well as the manual operation of our new towing mirror to let us see whatever we need to. First thing we're going to do in preparation for applying our new mirror is to go ahead and clean the surface to make sure that we don't scratch our factory mirror after we slide on the new CIPA custom towing mirror. We'll use a little application solution of soapy water and a rag to rinse off and make sure they're nice and clean. Then we'll take the driver side mirror and clean out the inside once we pull it out of the package to do the same thing. Once we have both mirrors nice and clean, we'll go ahead and slide it over. more
