Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Inno Tire Hold 2, two Bike Platform Rack here on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. Now this can be a great stable way of getting your bikes to wherever you wanna go. You are gonna get a very long tray for this platform style carrier, which can allow you to accommodate a host of different bikes up on here. Right at the gate, you are getting two tire holds on each of your tires. So it's gonna be great for your carbon frame bikes, since you're not having any kind of contact with your frames, and you're not gonna see any warping or deterioration on those guys, which is great. more

Now if you guys are looking away of getting a lot of bikes, to the Trailhead, well, look no further. If you want a great little platform without breaking the bank too much, take a look at it. It is a little messy, a little busy. You are getting a lot of straps, a lot of contact points, but I think overall, once you start utilizing this guy, you're going to see that those straps and all those points of contact are going to be great for making sure your bikes get to the trail head without any problems. more

Yakima HoldUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Speaker 1: Today, on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test-fit of the Yakima Holdup Platform-Style 2-Bike Rack, that part number is: Y02443.Now, we already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you one of the key features of this rack. We're going to come here to the back and on our driver's side, we're going to have a red pin. What we're going to do is lift up slightly on our bike rack, and pull out on that pin. That's going to allow us to tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle.With our bike rack in that position, we are going to gain full access into our back hatch area to get anything in or out that we may need. What's great about this is that we don't have to worry about removing our bike rack or our bikes just to gain that access. Close that up, and to put our bike rack back in place, we'll simply lift up until it clicks.Now, how our bike is secured down, here at the back, we have our ratchet strap. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test-fit of the Thule Double Track Pro Platform-Style 2-Bike Rack, that part number is: TH9054.Now, we already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we secure our bike into place. Now, we're going to have two straps, one at the front cradle and one at the back. These are going to be cam-buckle straps, we'll just push on the tab on the outside and we'll pull the strap through. These are long enough that they can be used with fat tire bikes. Our cradles also accommodate fat tire bikes as well.Now, in the center, we're going to have a frame clamp. This is going to grab around the frame of our bike. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Pathfinder ETTHT2P-2- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we'll be doing a test fit of the Thule T2 Pro Two Bike Platform Rack. One feature that I really like about this rack is that with this bike rack with your bike on it, you're able to tilt it away in order to gain access to your rear cargo area. As you can see, we're able to gain full access with this bike on here in order to get anything you may have such as groceries or luggage. To put it back into position, all you do is lift up on the handle and let it snap into place. With this bike rack, it makes no frame contact in order to hold the bike in place. It's got a rear wheel strap down here, then it's also get a front wheel hook in order to keep it tight into that wheel cradle. We're going to go ahead and get this bike off of here. You just squeeze on this gray tab and inside of the hook. more

Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test fit of a Kuat Transfer 3 Platform Style 3 Bike Rack. That part number is TS03G. We already have our bike secured down. We're first going to go over some features, show you how our bike gets secured down, and then we'll show you some more features. The first thing I want to show you is our tilting feature. Because we can't actually do that with our bike attached, we're going to start by pulling up our wheel hooks. I'm going to use my foot, or you can use your hand, and I'm just going to hit our lever here and push it down. We're able to rotate our bike rack all the way down, so we're going to gain full access to our back hatch area. more

We already have it secured to our vehicle with our bike loaded up. We're first going to show you how we load up our bike and secure it down then we'll go over some features. On our front tire here and our back tire, we have a strap that's going to secure those in place. Those are quick and easy to remove. We'll just pull down and lift up. more

We're just pushing these two grey pieces together and lifting our strips out of there. more

We're first going to show you a few features, go over how the rack secures down, or the bike secures down, rather, and then go over some more features of the rack. The first thing I want to show you is our tilting feature. We can do it with our bike still on the rack, we're going to grab our rack at the back and pull this lever here towards us. We can then remove our pin, here, and rotate that down. Now we're able to gain full access to our back hatch area to get anything in our out that we may need. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test run of the Swagman XC2 platform-style 2 bike rack. That part number is S64650. Now, we already have our bike secured on our rack. We're first going to show you how we do that, and then we'll go over some features of the rack itself. Here in the middle, we have our frame hook, which is going to push our bike down into our wheel cradles on our bike rack. You may be a little concerned that we don't have straps, but I can tell you with certainty from reading the customer reviews and having it out on our test course that you won't have any problems with your bike tires moving at all while they're in their cradles. You're going to squeeze right here and lift straight up on that hook, and then we'll be able to pull our bike off our rack and set it off to the side. Then with our bike out of the way. more

Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we're test fitting the Thule Vertex Swing. This is a swing away style folding dual arm 4 bike rack. Been designed for use in 2 inch hitches, the Part Number on it is TH9031XT. Something that's been recently added is going to be the cable lock, it stores right in the mast. It comes back where it slides in the end of the right or left side cradle arm here and it's secured with one of the Thule one key locking tumblers. Now if you've already got sets at home you can replace that right there. more

Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder we're doing a test fit on the Thule Vertex. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. They've designed so we can use it with an 1-1/4" or with 2" hitches. Part number: TH9029XT. One of the cool things, we've got an incorporated cable lock right here. This is made to come from the mast of the rack all the way back here to the rear connection point where it's secured using one of the Thule One Key tumblers. more
