Hey guys, this is Jake here at etrailer. Today, we have a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK. And we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Stealth Hitches towing kit. So our vehicle here is already equipped with the Stealth Hitch. We had actually installed it about a month ago here at etrailer and the owners of the vehicle decided they wanted to start towing trailers with it. Well, with the original kit, it is just the receiver tube kit, so you can't tow trailers with it. more

Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500- Video
Hi there Mercedes owners. Today in your 2021 Sprinter 3500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install REDARC's Tow-Pro Elite trailer brake controller. To assist us with this install, we're also going to be using a plug-and-play harness from Tekonsha. We will still have to do a little bit of splicing but it's gonna make our world a whole lot easier. REDARC's Tow-Pro Elite is going to be a very hidden brake controller that's installed in our Mercedes here. That will allow us to have a very small footprint here in our dash that's gonna give us all the typical outputs that our regular brake controller was without that massive controller that would be hanging here. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today, I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Voyager PWM filter here on our 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. As most Mercedes-Benz Sprinters or Mercedes cab and chassis RVers know, there's an issue with the wiring coming from our cab and chassis up to our camera system, not allowing enough power for the actual camera to send a signal over to our monitor. So, the fix for this is the Voyager PWM filter, which is going to send a steady current up to our camera, so that we can always make sure that we have our signal. So, the power coming through your vehicle's wiring is actually giving either a pulsing power to the camera or is just not providing that strong enough current as it is. So, that's where this comes in place. more

So here, we have it installed and it looks great. It's functioning wonderfully. And it's right here where I need it to be, right by the steering wheel so it's easy for me to get to this control when I need to manually apply the brakes. more

Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500- Video
Hello everyone, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at the Redarc Tow Pro elite break controller on our 2018 Mercedes-Benz sprinter 3500. So with our break controller whenever we are towing anything behind our vehicle it is proportionally going to distribute that breaking pressure from our vehicle to our trailer. The benefits of choosing this bit break controller are going to be it is going to provide a nice smoother driving experience and it also is going to be a lot safer and stress free on your vehicle as well whenever you're towing that extra weight behind it. So what the Redarc Tow Pro elite it is a very compact small package, it allows us to put our wiring and the main unit underneath the dash. And that way we aren't hitting our knees or accidentally adjusting or possibly damaging our controls here as you can see. It does make it nice and easy because you can access it here close to your steering wheel and that's going to help if you happen to need to use the manual override. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter- Video
Today on our 2013 Mercedes Benz Sprinter, we'll be installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller, part number 90885, in conjunction with the etrailer Brake Controller Install Kit part number, ETBC7, our tow rating mounting bracket, part number 18136, and the Edelmann dielectric grease, part number 11755. To begin our install, we'll first take the seven-pole bracket and mount it onto the seven-pole connector. Using the hardware provided with our install kit, we'll go ahead and line the bracket up with the pre-drilled holes in the connector, then install our bolt and nut to secure the bracket to the connector. We'll go ahead and lower the spare tire. Remove the T-nuts at the ends of the studs and then go ahead and loosen the nuts that secure the spare tire in position. Once we can loosen the nuts enough, we'll rotate the hook out of the way and then lower the cradle. Next we'll need to install the seven-pole bracket onto the vehicle. Now, for this application, we'll be using the tow-ready universal mounting bracket part number 18136. Because of the aftermarket body on this vehicle, we cannot install it in a normal fashion. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter- Video
Today in this Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van, were going to install part number 90885 from Tekonsha. To help us to install our brake controller, were also going to use part number ETBC7. Were going to need another part which is a bracket for us to install our 7-pole connector bracket. Thats going to be part number 18136. Lets do a manual override. You can see how it scrolls the numbers so that works. more
