Best 2009 Acura MDX Hitch Options- Video
Today on our 2009 Acura MDX we'll be looking at our best hitch options. We have two hitches here today. On the top we have a CURT class three, part number 13354. On the bottom we have a Draw-Tite class three, part number 75614. The main difference between our two hitches here today is that our Draw-Tite here has this extra tab welded onto it where you can mount your electrical connections for your trailer wiring such as your four-pole flat or your seven-way RV connection. Our Draw-Tite hitch here has an additional hole that's in front of the standard 5/8 diameter hitch pinhole. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Acura MDX- Video
Today on this 2009 Acura MDX were going to install part number 13354 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when it is installed on the vehicle. Next well give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the pin hitch hole to the outside edge of the bumper on this vehicle is going to be 3-1/2 inches, and from the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 17 inches. Now we will go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. A couple of steps we need to take care of first is that we remove the spare tire to make it easier to install, and also we are going to lower the exhaust, and also remove the heat shields. more
