Today on our 2005 Mini Cooper we're going to be installing the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar, Part Number BX7365. In addition to the tow bar, we're also going to be using some items from the Blue Ox towing accessory kit, Part Number BX88231. Now, once the tow bar is hooked up, you want to make sure that when you first start out that you do a series of some S-turns to help make sure that the tow bar fully extends and locks into that position. Now, when the arms are fully extended the handles will pop up into this upright position like this. That tells you that the arms are fully extended and in the lock position.
