Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2010 Toyota RAV4, we're gonna be showing you how to install the etrailer.com Class III trailer hitch receiver. But before we do that, why don't we check it out and make sure that this is the right hitch for you. So, when it comes to these RAV4s, you know, they're really popular SUVs, and I see people using them to do a ton of different things with. You know, whether it's pulling a trailer or using an accessory, you know, like a bike rack or a cargo carrier. So, honestly, if it we're me and I was thinking about putting a hitch on my Toyota, I'd want something that could, you know, kinda handle just about anything you wanna throw at it. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Toyota RAV4 - Curt- Video
Towing on our 2010 Toyota Rav4 We're going to be taking a look at installing the curt trailer hitch receiver class three, part number C13149. One of the nice features about this hitch is it's a round, tubular design that tucks up real nice to the bottom of your vehicle. Its got a high gloss black powder coat finish, going to help protect against any corrosion or rust. Nice ring style safety chain loop. It's a two inch receiver so it will accept all of your two inch accessories and your hitch mounts. It's got a 5/8 hitch pin. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Toyota RAV4 - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2010 Toyota Rav4, we're going to be taking a look at installing the Hidden Hitch trailer hitch receiver, part number 87697. A couple of nice features about this hitch, it's a nice round tube design with a high gloss black powder coat finish. That's going to help protect against corrosion and rust. It's a 2-inch receiver. Now, this one has a double pin so you can use you J pin stabilization devices. It also comes with an attaching point so you can mount your wiring for your trailers. It's got a nice flat steel safety chain hooks that are a really large diameter so you can but your nice big hooks through there. more

Today on our 2010 Toyota RAV4 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw Tite Max Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class 3 part number 75235. A couple of nice features about this hitch, it's a nice round tube design with the high gloss black powdered coat finish. It's going to help protect against corrosion and rust. It's a 2 inch receiver and this one has a double pin so you can use your J pin stabilization devices. It also comes with an en-thatching point so you can mount your wiring for your trailers. It's got a nice flat steel safety chain hooks that are really large diameter so you can put your nice big hooks through there and you'll have no problems. This hitch is fully welded and it's a bolt on design. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Toyota Rav4 - Curt c12108- Video
Today on this 2010 Toyota Rav4 were going to install part number C12108. This is the Curt Class 2 1-1/4 Receiver Hitch. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on the Rav4. Next well go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a bicycle rack or cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 13 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the spare tire is going to be about 7-1/4 inches. Now Ill go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. To start off we need to go ahead and get our vehicle ready. more

Today on this 2010 Toyota Rav 4, we're going to install part number 36490 from DrawTite. All right, now this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our Rav 4. Next, we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 13". From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 3". We'll give you 1 additional measurement that might help you out in selecting a bicycle rack. The distance from your hitch pin hole and the outside edge of the spare tire cover is going to be about 6-1/4". Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more
