Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon we're gonna be showing you how to install the Tekonsha custom fit vehicle wiring harness. Before we do that though, let's take a couple minutes, check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. So when it comes to these Subarus, you know, people do a ton of different things with 'em, which does include pulling some trailers around. And whenever you are hooked up to a trailer you know it's a legal requirement for all the lights to work, and that's what this kit is gonna accomplish. It's gonna power up all those lights. more

Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Today on our 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon, we're going to be taking a look at, and also showing you how to install, the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with the four full flat trailer connector, part number is HM11143865. Now, Hopkins Plug-In Simple Custom Fit Wiring is going to give us a four full trailer connection at the rear of our vehicle, which is going to be excellent to use for your small trailers and cargo carriers, things like that. Now, this plug delivers right turn and brake, left turn and brake, tail light signal, and also ground. The way it's going to connect to our vehicle is really quite simple. We've got an 8 Pin connector, and this is going to plug right into a connector that already exists on your Subaru. It's not going to take any modifications or any vehicle changes really at all to get this installed. Here in the middle you're going to see our convertor box. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Today on our 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon, we'll be installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with four pole flat connector part number C56040. To begin our install, we'll first open up the rear hatch. We'll then remove the rear cargo cover. Next, we'll go ahead and lift up on the spare tire cover and set it out of the way. We can then remove the center foam compartment and set it aside. Here in the center, carpeted and foam mold, we'll go ahead and roll the protective cover out of the way. more
