Best 2015 Nissan Murano Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Nissan Murano, we're going to be taking a look at the best vehicle wiring options. These are going to be our two wiring options here. Here on your left side you have the Tekonsha, part number 118660. Here on your right side, we're going to have the Curt, part number 56267. Both are going to have converter boxes so it doesn't draw any power from your tail lights. However, it's going to protect your vehicle from any backfeed from your trailer, if your trailer has any wiring problems.The only differences we're going to have between these two wiring harnesses is your Tekonsha is going to have a 4.2 amp per circuit for your stop and turn, and 7.5 amp per circuit for your tail lights, whereas your Curt is going to have 3.0 amps for your stop and turn, and 6.0 amps per circuit for your tail lights.If you notice here on the Tekonsha, your converter box, it's going to have a polymer potting. more

Today on our 2015 Nissan Murano, we're going to review and install Tow Ready T-One vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, Part Number: 118660. Now here's what our new custom fit 4-flat connector is going to look like once it's installed. The 4-flat trailer connector is commonly used on a lot of towing products. Now let's go ahead and show you how to use it. We'll take our 4-flat trailer connector out of the spare tire well and run it out and over the threshold. Stay away from the latches. Pinching off in the latch will harm the wire, but we can close the rear door on it as the weather seal is thick enough that it won't harm it. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Nissan Murano C56267- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Murano, we're going to review an install of the Curt Custom Fit 4-Pole Trailer Connector, part number C56267. Before we install it let's go and review our trailer wiring. Open up the rear hatch and spare tire cover. Take our 4-flat trailer connector wiring out, running it out over the vehicle threshold. However, stay away from the latch, as pinching it off in the latch can harm the wire, but the threshold seal is thick enough that it won't harm the wire. Then we'll close the rear hatch on the wiring. Once it's closed I'll pull out the wire necessary, so that we can run it down to our hitch or accessory. more
