All right, today on this 2012 Chrysler Town & Country, we're going to show you the CURT key-connector vehicle wiring harness with a four-pull flat trailer connector, part number C56150. These are the parts that you get with the kit, a T-connector right here. This one with the yellow wire goes to the left-hand side or the driver's side, and we have a T-connector here that goes up to the right-hand side. These connections are made right behind the tail light. These two wires go down to the module here and when signal goes to the module here, it goes out to our four-pole flat. Also, our four-pole flat comes with a protective cover when you are not using it. Now our module is going to need to get power from a 12-volt power supply up-front. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Chrysler Town and Country 118534

Today on our 2012 Chrysler Town & Country well be installing the Tow Ready T1 Connector, part number 118534. Now to begin our installation were going to open the rear tailgate to access the screws that hold the taillights in place. Well remove the bolts holding the taillights and carefully pry the taillight housing rearward away from the vehicle being very careful not to break the alignment tabs. Once weve removed the taillights from the vehicle we can pull the red tab here on the connector. Well then push the button and allow the connector to separate. Now here on the drivers side well take the T connector in with the yellow wire and connect it to the vehicle wiring and lock it into place. more
