Today, on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with a 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector.This is what our wiring is going to look like installed. It's going to provide us with the necessary lighting functions to give us that piece of mind knowing that we're going to stay safe and legal.Whether you do a little bit of towing or a lot of towing, this is going to be a great wiring option for you. Many of our customers reach out to us, and said, years after installing, it's still working perfectly and trouble-free.Now, one thing I do want to point out, not only can you store your wiring this way with the dust cover, but you can also get a bracket to permanently mount it to your hitch itself. My favorite part about it is you can hide it with this removable panel.To begin our installation, we're going to come to the back of the vehicle, and we're going to be working on the passenger side, right here in this area. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Part number C56181. Here's what this wiring is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, we've got our 4-pole power here at the hitch and this wiring harness is going to do a great job of just that, giving you that 4-pole power here so that you can power your trailer or cargo carrier. This kit uses T-connectors behind the tail lights in order to get the signal for the power. It does run a 12 volt power wire directly to the positive side of the battery so that the module box can take it's power from there as opposed to using the power coming off of the signals behind the taillights. more

This is going to supply us with running light signal, left turn and brake, right turn and brake, and also a ground to make sure our lights all operate properly. Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be taking a look at installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package with a 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C56245. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. You can see we're going to have a 4 flat connector with our water-tight cover to protect it when it's not in use. You can also use that to tie it to your hitch. Just place it through. Snap them back together. more
