Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2020 Ford Ranger, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Roadmaster vehicle side charge line kit. But before we do that, why don't we check it out And I'll try to explain to you what this actually does. So the whole point of a charge line kit is to keep your battery topped off. And the reason being, just about every single supplemental breaking system out there is gonna use some of your Rangers battery power whenever it's being flat towed. And so what can happen is over time, you know, when you're towing this your breaking system is just going to take a little bit of juice a little bit of juice, a little bit of juice and over time that can actually wear your battery down. more

Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Ford Ranger, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Demco towed vehicle battery charge wire kit. So the main reason I always recommend using a charge wire kit is so your battery is not drained down whenever you get to your destination. And that happens because nine times out of 10, the vehicle braking system that you're using actually draws power from your vehicle's battery to operate. So every time you apply the brakes and that breaking system activates, it's gonna take a little bit of juice from your battery. So let's say if you don't stop every now and again and start up your car, let that battery charge up, or if you're on a multiple day trip, leave everything hooked up, and you get to your destination, unhook your vehicle, sometimes your battery can be drained and be dead. more
