Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford F-150

Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today, on our 2019 Ford F-150, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver. With the F-150 being such a versatile truck, you're going to want a hitch that meets those demands. Well, since this one is a Class III, it's going to have some pretty good weight capacities that'll work real well for towing, and since it's going to have that 2" x 2" receiver tube opening, it's going to work really good for many different types of accessories, and it's going to give us some really good clearance. The end of the receiver tube is going to sit just about flush with the edge of our bumper, so that's going to work really well for those folding accessories. And since it does sit just about flush, it's going to be really easy to get our hands in and out of here whenever we're hooking up our ball mount. One thing I really like is that for the most part, the hitch is going to be completely hidden. more

Ryan: How's it going Ryan here etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Ford F-150, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt class three two inch trailer hitch receiver. Now right off the bat the hitch is going to be pretty much completely hidden. The only thing you're going to be able to see is the receiver tube opening. That's really going to help maintain that factory look. So this is going to have a gloss black powder coat finish, which is a little bit different from some of the other ones. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford F-150 C14017

Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Ford F-150 we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Curt Class IV 2" trailer hitch receiver.Right off the bat, one of the main things that really separates this hitch from many of the others is the fact that it is a Class IV, so that means it's going to be more heavy duty and be able to handle more weight. So depending on your application, if you haul things quite frequently, this one is going to be a good choice. Now even though it is more heavy duty, it is still going to provide us with that nice clean factory look, and this is going to be more than enough to carry just about any accessory too.Now as far as the hitch's weight capacities go, it's going to have a 1,000 pound maximum gross tongue weight rating, so that's going to be the amount of weight pushing down on the hitch. As far as the maximum gross trailer weight rating goes, it's going to be 10,000 pounds. That's going to be the amount of weight pulling on the hitch, so that's the weight of your trailer plus anything that you might have on it.Now, this can be used with a weight distribution system, which is a separate component, but if you are using that, the weight capacities do increase. more

Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Ford F150, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com Class III 2" trailer hitch receiver. so right off the bat one of the things that really separates this hitch from some of the other ones, and that I really like personally as well as our customers, is it's matte black finish. It's going to give it a really clean, almost factory look and that finish is going to help it stay in good shape for a really long time. With F150s being such versatile trucks, many of our customers need a hitch that's going to meet those demands. And since this one is a Class III hitch, with that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, you're going to have no problem hooking up to all your trailers and even using some accessories. It's going to have a reinforced collar for extra strength and it's going to have these standard five eight sized pinhole. more
