Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Buick Enclave and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT class three two inch hitch receiver. A couple of great reasons of why you would want to add a trailer hitch to the back of your Buick Enclave is because the Buick Enclave has a lot of space on the inside but if you're packing the inside full of people or pets you want to have more space to be able to carry your gear on the back. So if you're wanting to haul a bike rack, a cargo carrier or maybe even pull a small trailer that's what the owner of this vehicle's using it for. He wants to be able to do some odd projects at home. So he wants to be able to rent a trailer, pickup materials, stuff like that. more

Before we do that though, let's take a minute, check this out and make sure it's gonna be right for you. When it comes to putting a hitch on a vehicle like our Porsche, I know the first thing that would come to my mind is the appearance, you know, how's it gonna look And for a fixed style of hitch, honestly I don't think it can really get a whole lot better with this one. Looks like they tried to do a pretty good job of keeping it compact and, you know, completely hidden for the most part. So with this one, you are gonna be able to see the receiver tube opening, but whenever the car's on the ground, you know, it does kind of just protrude right out from the lower portion of our bumper fascia there, so it doesn't look terrible by any means, at least in my opinion. more

Right off the bat, one of the cool things about this setup is the fact that the hitch can be completely hidden whenever you're not using it. And that's because it sits behind the fascia, and because of its position, it'll allow you to take your removable panel and pop that back into place. And everything looks completely factory back here, but when you're ready to use it, remove a couple of fasteners down here, this pops out, and now you have complete access to it. more

This is etrailer's Class III Receiver Hitch that we installed on our 2022 Audi Q5. Now, in my opinion, this is the perfect size hitch for this Audi. This is gonna be a Class III hitch, which means that this receiver opening right here is 2" by 2" square and we've reinforced the collar on this for just a little bit better performance out of it. Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2023 Buick Envision- Video
Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Buick Envision ST. Now, this is what your hitch looks like when it's installed on the Envision, and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you can see a portion of the hitch hanging down, but it's pretty hidden. The way that the fascia sits, you'd really have to be pretty low to see it. So you get a nice, clean look overall when the hitch is installed. Now, this one being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening means that you're gonna have a ton of different options when it comes to accessories, whether you're choosing a cargo carrier, a ball mount, or a bike rack. more

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we've got a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Class III Two-inch Hitch Receiver. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Crosstrek is gonna allow you to carry bike racks, cargo carriers, or maybe even pull a small trailer. The Crosstrek is a very versatile vehicle, but the space inside can sometimes be limited. So that's why getting bulkier items, like a cooler or some luggage, onto a cargo rack, or if you're wanting to take bikes to and from the trail, getting them outta your car if you can even fit 'em inside of your vehicle. A lot of times people don't think about, you know, they can put their bikes inside their car when they leave for the trail, but once they're done riding, you have to be very careful to not get your bike covered in mud so you don't have to stick it back inside your car. more

Installing a trailer hitch receiver on the back of your Enclave is gonna give you a couple different options. First off, it's gonna allow you to haul accessories like a bike rack or a cargo carrier. The Enclave has a pretty good storage inside but if you have that back row folded up you're not going to be able to store very many things in the back of the vehicle. So putting a cargo carrier on there, get some luggage out of the car and onto the cargo carrier or cooler for a family event, something like that. more

Now, the number one question that we get with the Audis and the trailer hitches is: Will the kick sensors still work I've just unlocked it. Yes, the sensor still works, regardless if you have the receiver tube installed in the bumper or not. The best feature of this hitch that I think is that when you are done towing, or done biking, or done with your cargo rack, anything that you would use this hitch for and you don't want it on the vehicle anymore, it comes right off. Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Jeep Gladiator. Now, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed, and this is a exposed cross tube, meaning you can see a good majority of the hitch, or at least the beam that attaches up to the frame. And normally, that's something that I I'm not exactly a huge fan on passenger vehicles, but it generally does give you a higher weight capacity, and that's definitely the case in this one. And on a Jeep, I think as a utilitarian look, it actually looks pretty cool on here. So I don't think it takes away from the looks at all. more

Now the Subaru Crosstrek is a very versatile vehicle. You can go a lot of places in 'em. The one issue with them is the back of the vehicle's not very large, so you're not gonna have a whole lot of room for storage especially if you're trying to get something like a bike to and from the trail head. It's gonna be very difficult and really messy if you're coming back from the trail to slide that bike in the back of your car. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Jeep Gladiator. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on the Gladiator and it is an exposed cross tube meaning you are gonna see a large portion of the hitch below the bumper and normally on a passenger vehicle or something along those lines. I'm not a huge fan of these because it kind of detracts away from the look of the vehicle, but on a Jeep it actually pulls it off pretty well and another bonus of having that exposed cross tube generally means that you're gonna get a little bit higher weight capacities and this one is no different. Now this being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening means that you have a ton of accessories available for it. So whether you're looking at bike racks, cargo carriers or ball mounts, you're gonna have plenty to choose from. And we have plenty of options here at etrailer. more

Best 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best hitch options for the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. Now the two options that we have here today is going to be the CURT Class 3 trailer hitch receiver with the two-inch hitch receiver, and the etrailer Class 3 two inch hitch receiver. The biggest difference between the two right off the bat is going to be the paint job. The etrailer hitch is going to have a black carbide finish. It's a matte black finish, so depending on what you're looking for, the CURT hitch is going to have a gloss black powder hook finish. more

Adding a two-inch hitch receiver to the back end of your Honda Pilot's gonna allow you to carry cargo carriers, bike racks, and maybe even a ball mount to be able to pull a small trailer. EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2018 Toyota Prius- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Toyota Prius. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Prius and it is a hidden cross tube. This one bolts up behind the bumper beam so you got a nice clean look and the only thing that's gonna be visible from outside of the vehicle is gonna be the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and also the plate style safety chain loops. And that's something that's interesting about this hitch. This car generally has 1-1/4 of a Class 1 hitch so the availability for a 2 inch is really nice. Now you're not really gonna get a ton of different capacities as far as trying to tow more or haul more, but having a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening opens up the window to a bunch of different bike racks and cargo carriers that you might previously be limited with an 1-1/4. more
