Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Installation - 2002 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2002 Chevy Silverado well be installing the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper springs, part number F2250. To begin our install well first need to remove the old or manufacturers bump studs. To remove them, well remove the two nuts of studs that come up through the frame. To make it easier to remove them were going to spray each one with some spray lubricant to help break up the rust, dust, dirt and debris thats built up over time. Now with the nuts off well go ahead and remove the bump stud and set both the hardware and bump stud aside as they will not be reinstalled. Note, each process we do to one side will get repeated identically on the opposite side. more
