This is what the hitch is going to look like installed. Now what I really like about it is how concealed it is. The only thing you're going to see is the safety chain loops and the receiver tube. And I also really like the fact that the receiver tube opening just sticks out past the bumper. This is going to give us plenty of clearance for any accessories you might have. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video

Today on our 2016 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class 3, 2 inch, trailer hitch receiver. Now, this is what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, pretty much the whole hitch is exposed, but it does blend in nicely with the contour lines of the Ram. Now, one thing I really like about it, is how flush it sits with the bumper. That's going to allow us to pretty much any hitch mounted accessories without any interference. It's also nice because you won't have to worry about busting your leg on it when you're walking around the bed of your truck.This is a Class 3 hitch, so it's going to have that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and a thick, reinforced collar for extra support. more

Today on our 2016 Ram 1500, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame custom fit class five trailer hitch receiver, part number 41948. Here's what our Draw-Tite Ultra Frame's going to look like once it's installed on the back of our vehicle. It's going to have a super rugged look and design. With it's black powder coat finish, fully welded construction, it's going to be super durable and last a long time and prevent any kind of rust and corrosion. It's going to have that cast steel center that's going to be super strong as well. Now you can see it's going to have a 5/8 in pinhole for all your 2 inch attachments as well as a 1/2 inch pinhole directly in front of it for your J-pin stabilization device. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Ram 1500 - Curt- Video

Today on our 2016 RAM 1500 we will be taking a look at and installing the Curt Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. Part Number 13333. Here's what our Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver's going to look like once it's installed on the back of our vehicle. You can see how it's going to stick out just a little bit and have a real nice, sleek, and stylish look on the back of our vehicle. It's going to have that gloss black powder coat finish that's going to prevent any kind of rust and corrosion as well as a fully welded design. We're going to have our real nice large chain tie-downs on either side as well as a 5/8 inch pin hole going straight through the center to secure all of our 2 inch accessories. This is going to have a 2 x 2 inch receiver tube opening, offering a 600 lbs tongue weight rating and 6,000 lbs towing capacity. With weight distribution that's going to go up just slightly up to 1,000 lbs tongue weight capacity and 10,000 lbs towing capacity. That's going to be your trailer with all your items included.
