Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2011 through 2017 Honda Odyssey. Now up top here we're going to have our Draw-Tite. It's going to be a Class 3 hitch. Right below that we're going to have our EcoHitch, which is also a Class 3. Below that we'll have our etrailer Class 3 hitch. Then finally at the bottom, we're going to have our CURT Class 3 hitch.If I was looking for a hitch for my Odyssey, I would go with the Draw-Tite for a few different reasons, but let's take a closer look at why, and all the other features of our other hitches. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Honda Odyssey, we're gonna take a look at and show you how to install the etrailer.com custom fit Class 3 trailer hitch receiver offering the 2" x 2" receiver tube opening. It's part number E98862. Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like installed. As you can see, like most of the hitches for the Odyssey, we've got our cross tube that come across meets up at our frame there where we make our connections.Now, this is a Class 3 hitch, so you're gonna have the 2" x 2" receiver tube opening. Just about the most common one out there. Generally, if they make a hitch accessory, it's probably gonna come in this size. more

Today on our 2014 Honda Odyssey we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Custom Fit Class III trailer hitch receiver offering the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. It's part number is 76025. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on the Odyssey. As you can see, this is a big change from what the standard Odyssey hitches look like. Typically you've got that cross tube that comes all the way across. It doesn't look all that great because you see all of that material. The new design here from Draw-Tite's going to move all that up and behind our rear fascia panel here. more

Today on our 2014 Honda Odyssey, we'll be installing the Curt trailer hitch, part number C13068. Now, this is what the hitch looks like installed on our van. Now, we'll give you a couple measurements that will help you select accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is roughly 13 inches, and from the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper, is about 6 inches. Now, let's go and see how it's installed. The first step is going to be to remove this panel right here, and we do that by removing these three fasteners. We'll also need to remove this hex head bolt up here and the screw up here. more

Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 6-1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 12-1/2 inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. Now, we'll go ahead with installation. Now, to begin our install, we'll first need to remove the underbody trim panel located on the driver's side. more
