Today on this 2009 Dodge Ram we're going to install part number 87530 from Hidden Hitch. First thing we're going to do is go ahead and lower our spare tire, we dont have to do this but it makes things a little easier to see. Next we'll go ahead and remove the trailer board cover from the top of the bumper. We'll use a screw driver to help push up it and out of the way. Next we'll go ahead and install the 3/4-inch hex bolt and conical toothwasher. When we put in place we'll make sure that the teeth on the conical toothwasher or pointed towards the bumper. more

Before we do that, we'll go ahead and put a safety strap underneath so we can control how far and fast the exhaust will fall. Now with our safety strap secured, we can go ahead and remove the ground strap between the frame and the exhaust hanger on the muffler on the passenger's side. Next, we'll go ahead and take some spray lubricant and spray down each one of the rubber isolators that connect the exhaust the hangers. There are a total of three on each side. more

Today on our 2011 Dodge Caliber, we're going to install hidden hitch part number 60832. Here couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch such as the bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost point of the bumper is 7". From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13".Now, let's go ahead with the installation. With the install process, let's take our 4" 5A bolt and go ahead and fit them into the frame from the outside to the inside. Now, the bolt will go all the way through the frame however when it keep it flushed with the frame until we get our hitch in place. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Dodge Caliber 24769- Video

Today on a tall dodge caliber were going to install the drag tight hitch number 24769 here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new job such as a hitch such as a bike rack or a cargo carrier and the center of the hitch pin well to the outermost part of the bumper is 7 inches, from top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13inches, now lets go ahead with the installation.The installation process is take our 4inch 5of the bolts and go ahead and feed them into the frame from the outside to the inside, now the bolt will go on all the way through the frame however you want to keep it flushed with the frame until we get our hitch in place, well do this for both sides.We need to process the do here on the drivers side well repeat it identically on the passenger side, now the hardware in place, well go ahead and push the bolts through the frame into the hitch.Now the hardware in place well go ahead and push the bolts through the frame into the hitch up and push the bolts through the frame into the hitch, now with the bolt holding the hitch in place well take our 5A lock- washer about 5A nut then, thread them on to the end of the bolt Ill go and repeat the same process for all the attachment points.Now with all our fasteners in place, well go and tight them down, now with all our fasteners tightened down, were going to talk to stressifications as indicated instructions and with all our fasteners charged to specifications, that will complete the install of our tro dodge draw tight hitch, part number 24769 on our 2011 Dodge Caliber. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Dodge Caravan- Video

Today on this 2005 Dodge Caravan, we're going to be installing Curt Hitch part number 12362. Before we get started with the installation, we're going to go ahead and show you a couple of final installed dimensions which will help make choosing your hitch accessories a little bit easier. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is going to measure 12 inches, and from the center of the pinhole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure right at 2 1/2 inches. And now I'll go ahead and move on to installation. Ok, we're up underneath the vehicle here and we're going to go ahead and point out the mounting holes we're going to be using to attach the hitch to the vehicle. Starting over here on the drivers side, you can see we've got two existing bolts here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Dodge Ram- Video

Today on our 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 were gonna install Kurt hitch part number 14374. Here are a couple of measurements thatll assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch, from the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost point of the bumper is 2 and a half inches, from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 19 and a half inches. Now lets go ahead with the installation. Weve already gone ahead and removed the spare tire, this will make it easier to install our hitch. Our first step to installing the hitch is gonna be the removing the frame bolts, this is the forward frame fastener for the bumper tube bracket, theres one on each side, each side is identical so each process I do here on the driver side will be repeated identically on the passenger side. Lets go ahead and remove the fasteners now, hang on to these fasteners as they will be reinstalled when we put the hitch in place. more
