Today on our 2010 Ford mustang GT we'll be installing the Curt trailer hitch ina class 1in an inch and a quarteropening on the receiver, part number C11048.Now here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couplemeasurements helping you choosesome accessoriesfor your hitch such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of thebumper is approximately 4 1/4inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the groundis approximately 11 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. Now before we begin, we need to make a note that this vehicle does have dual exhaust on it, so some of the installation instructions will differ if you only have a single exhaust 2010 Ford Mustang. Now to begin with, we're actually going to remove both mufflers, one fromeach side. more

Today on this 2010 Ford Mustang, were going to install part number c11048 form Curt. Next well give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories especially a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. On top of the receiver opening down to the ground were looking at a distance of 11-1/4 inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper is about 4-1/4 inches. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed, first thing you do is go ahead and loosen up the muffler, the muffler mount on the very back well remove and also remove one forward of the muffler. To make things a little easier to install were actually going to detach the muffler while we install the hitch. Now well go ahead and show you where the hitch installs on the vehicle. more
