Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2018 Chevrolet Malibu y00146

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, we're gonna be test-fitting the Yakima round bar roof rack system, consisting of part number Y00409, these are the 58-inch round cross bars, part number Y00146, these are the baseline towers for the Yakima cross bars, particularly for naked roofs, part number Y03536, and this is the round bar SL adapter for the Yakima base line, and finally part number Y06123 and this is gonna be the base clip fit kit for the Malibu. The rider rack round bar roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your Malibu. It can carry anything from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes. While the round bars are both durable and strong, they are gonna make noise while you drive, so you might have to purchase aftermarket bearings to cut down that wind noise and drag, which you can find on etrailer.com.These are very easy to install. They simply clamp around your existing doorframe and tighten down into place. Everything is provided to tighten this down to your vehicle as well. And at the ends of our end caps, we do have plastic knockouts, which you can remove and replace with Yakima same key system which is sold separately. more

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Malibu- Video

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Malibu

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for towed vehicles, part number RM-156-25.Here's what our charge line kit looks like installed. This solves the problem that people encounter when they are flat-tailing their vehicle behind their motor home. The reason you need this is because when your vehicle has a supplemental braking system, its drawing its power from the vehicle's battery and not from the motor home. This will maintain the charge on your battery, so your supplemental braking system won't drain your battery and whenever you get to your destination, you will be able to start your vehicle up without any problems. Many of our customers have found this to be a great solution because several of them have found their battery's be dead and not able to start their vehicle after they've been towing for an extended period of time. This solved that issue for them and will solve the issue for you as well, so you don't have to worry about it.For this particular flat tow setup, we're using a Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit with removable arms, a Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with bulbs, a Roadmaster Seven to Six Wire Straight Cord, a Roadmaster Fusemaster Fuse Bypass, a Roadmaster Charge Line Kit, Roadmaster Coil Safety Cables, a Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Nonbinding Tow Bar and a Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit. In this instance, we are not installing a braking system that is available to us, my customer's supplying his own, but we do have several braking system options available too.In this particular case, I would recommend the Roadmaster Even Brake Braking System. more
