Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com Class III 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan.Now one of my favorite things about this hitch is that it's going to pretty much hidden. The only thing you're really going to be able to see is a receiver. Another thing I really like is where our hitch is going to sit. It's going to sit pretty much flush with our bumper, that way it should provide adequate clearance for just about any style of folding accessory. more

Best 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan. Up top here we're going to have our etrailer has, which is going to be a Class 3. Right below that we'll have our Draw-Tite that's also a Class 3. Then finally at the bottom we'll have our CURT, again a Class 3 hitch. Since all of our hitches are going to be a Class 3 hitch, they're all going to give us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening and have a lot of different accessories available that we can mount in them, all the way from a ball mount, a bike rack, or even a cargo carrier.Regardless if you're towing and you're using a ball mount or you're just using it for a bike rack, all of the accessories going into each one of our hitches is going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip to secure them. However, the Draw-Tite you'll notice there is going to be a secondary hole towards the opening on our receiver. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan - Curt- Video
Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the CURT Class 2 trailer hitch receiver, part number C12264. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. What's great about this hitch is that it's completely concealed behind our rear fascia here. The only part that you'll see hanging down is the Class 2 1-1/4" itself. Now the reason you're going to want a Class 2 hitch such as this one is if you already have Class 1 and Class 2 1-1/4" accessories like a bike rack or a cargo carrier, this will save you from having to purchase new ones for your new Grand Caravan.On the side of our receiver you'll find our industry-standard 1/2" diameter pin hole for your pin and clip to secure your hitch-mounted accessories. The pin and clip is included with this hitch. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class two trailer hitch receiver, part number 36455. Here's what your hitch looks like installed. What's great about this hitch is how well it's hidden behind our fascia here. The only part you see hanging down is the class two 1 1/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch receiver itself. Now the reason you're gonna want a class two hitch over a class three hitch is that if you already own class two and class one accessories such as bike racks and cargo carriers, this will allow you to still use your old accessories over your new Grand Caravan without having to replace them or get an adapter.Welded onto the bottom of our receiver are our rolled steel safety chain loops. What I like about these is that even though this is a class two hitch, if you have large diameter safety chain hooks such as this one here, it'll still clip on easily. more

Speaker 1: Today, in this 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, we will be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75579.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. One of the first things that you will notice about this hitch is how well it's hidden behind our fascia. The only part you'll see hanging down is the actual receiver itself. On the side of the receiver, you'll find two pinholes. The one that's closest to the front of the vehicle and is the largest is your industry standard 5/8th of an inch diameter hitch pinhole, which you use to secure your hitch-mounted accessories. You can pick up pin and clip separately on our website as part number PC3.The hole that's closest to the rear of the receiver and is the small one, that's for a J-pin stabilization device. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13364. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. What's great about this hitch is that it's nice and tucked up underneath our fascia here so the only part you see hanging down is the receiver opening itself. It's also nice and tight against the bottom of the fascia to help give us the most ground clearance possible. On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard five-eighth of an inch diameter hitch pinhole to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories.
