Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Acura RDX- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Acura RDX, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12083.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross tube is completely hidden behind the bumper. It does sit nice and tucked in underneath the bumper fascia so you're not going to have to worry about hitting your legs or your shins on it when loading and unloading the vehicle.Now this is going to be a class 2. It's going to be an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter. Hitch pinhole's going to be half inch in diameter. It's also going to have a reinforced collar to give you a little extra stability on your receiver tube. more

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer hitches available for the 2013 Acura RDX. Here we have our Draw-Tite Class 3, part number 75784. 2" by 2" receiver tube opening on that one. Here we've got our CURT. This is part number C13130. Also a Class 3 with the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening.Now there are a few differences cosmetically to them. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Acura RDX - Curt- Video
Today on this 2013 Acura RDX, we're going to install part number C13130 from Curt. First we'll go underneath the vehicle and show you where attachment points are. There's a threaded hold at the very end of the frame and an existing hole going up towards the front. This will be the same on both sides. Next we'll show you the hardware that works with the hitch. On our threaded hole in the frame, it will have a metric bolt and it will get a conical-tooth washer. Make sure your teeth on the conical-tooth washer always face towards the hitch. For the open hole going up towards the front of the vehicle, we'll get a handle nut. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Acura RDX - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on this 2013 Acura RDX were going to install part number 75692 from Draw Tite. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the vehicle. Next well give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be 14 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about four and a half inches. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more
