But before we do that, why don't we check it out and make sure that this is gonna be the right hitch for you. shane: Hey guys, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2014 BMW X one, and I want to walk through how to install the Curt class three trailer hitch receiver. One thing, when you think about a BMW, you think about class. I really liked the way this hitch looks on here. You can see the cross tube is completely hidden behind the bumper facia. The only thing we can see is our receiver tube. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 BMW X1 - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on this 2014 BMW X1, we're going to show you part number 75761 from Draw-Tite. All right, first glance, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our X1. You'll notice that really all you can see is just the receiver at the bottom of the bumper. We'll go ahead and take a closer inspection of our hitch. We have a nice rounded collar, around the edge here. On the very bottom, we have a simple ring style safety chain loop. This hitch does use a 5/8ths of an inch hitch pin, or your favorite locking pin. You'll notice there's another hole right here. This is for a j-pin stabilization pin. more
