Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checking out some of our best trailer brake controller options for the 2022 Honda Ridgeline. With the Ridgeline being a really capable vehicle, people use 'em to do a lot of different things, which does include pulling some pretty heavy trailers around. And so if your trailer has brakes on it, you're gonna need a way to apply 'em and that's where a trailer brake controller is gonna come into play, right You know, once you kind of start diving in the world of brake controllers, it can kind of get overwhelming 'cause there's so many different options out there. And so the main goal today, I have a handful of some of my favorite ones that I have quite a bit of experience with and hopefully give you a little bit of insight and get you going in the right direction as far as what setup might be best for you. Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2022 Honda Ridgeline, we're gonna be showing you how to install the REDARC custom-fit adapter harness. Before we do that though, let's just check this out and make sure it's going to work for you. So right off the bat, what REDARC has done is made a plug-and-play-type harness for their trailer brake controllers. So this is going to work with the REDARC Tow-Pro Liberty, which is what we have installed on our Honda here today. It'll plug in to this portion there, and then this will plug into your factory connector, which is located behind this panel. more
