Today on our 2006 Mercedes Benz R Class, we're going to install Part Number 75470 from Draw-Tite. All right, this is what the hitch looks like once installed on our vehicle. Next, we're going to use some measuring to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper, it actually comes out to about 2-3/4". From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground, it's 10-1/2". Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. The first thing for me to do is get underneath the car, and we need to go ahead and remove these two bolts. We'll need a 16mm socket to do this. more

Today on the 2006 Mercedes Benz R-Class, we are going to install part number 87413, from hidden hitch. This is what the hitch looks like when installed on our vehicle. Next we will give you some measurements to help you out when selecting some accessories such as a bomb-out, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper actually comes out to about 2 and 3/4 inches and from top of the receiver opening down to the ground is 10 and 1/2 inches. Now we will go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we are going to do is get underneath the car and we will need to go ahead and remove these two bolts. You will need a 16 millimeter socket to do this. Next up, these 4 screws that hold the bumper fascia to this panel. more
