Speaker 2: All right today on this 2009 Mercedes Benz GL Class, we're going to install part number C13102. This is a Class III Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is what the hitch looks like once it's installed on our Mercedes. Next, we'll go ahead and give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about thirteen inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about five and three quarter inches. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class - Curt- Video
Today on our 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class 450, we'll be installing the Curt Hitch, part number C13102. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 5-1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13-3/4 inches. Now, let's go ahead with installation. To begin our installation, we'll first need to remove the exhaust tips. To remove them, we'll need to remove the screws that secure them, and then push them towards the front of the vehicle unlocking the L-bracket tabs. more
