Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2016 Mazda 6. The most popular that we offer is the Curt Class One, this is part number C11356. That's followed by the Draw-Tite Class One, part number there is 24908. Both hitches being a Class One, that means they're going to have an inch and a quart by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, aesthetically the Curt's just a little bit different because it does have kind of this flush re-enforcement collar on the front side of it. Whereas the Draw-Tite is just the receiver tube that comes out to an end. Both of them share the round tube cross rail. We're going to be able to see that across the rear of the vehicle where it meets up into our side plates and ultimately is going to go into two very easy locations to mount to. more

Today on our 2014 Mazda 6 we're going to be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Part Number C11356. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for you hitch, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately 6 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 11 inches. Before we begin our installation, let's go over some of the tools we'll be using to install our hitch today. more

Today on our 2014 Mazda 6 we're going to be installing the Hidden Hitch trailer hitch receiver, part number 60339. Now here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 10-1/2". From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately 6-1/2". Now before we begin our installation let's go ahead and go over the tools that we'll be using to install our hitch today. You'll need a 3/4" socket, a ratchet, a long extension is helpful but not necessary, and a torque wrench. more

Today on our 2010 Mazda 6, we'll be installing the draw tight hitch, part number 24832. This is what our hitch will look like once installed. Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin pole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 6 and a half inches. The top of the receiver tube to the ground is 7 and a half inches. Now we'll go ahead with installation. To gain easier access here on the passenger's side we're going to go ahead and lower the exhaust. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Mazda 6- Video
Today on this 2007 Mazda 6 we are going to be installing Draw-Tite hitch part number 24775. This installation will also apply for Hidden Hitch part number 60846. The first thing we want to do is to go inside the trunk and remove the spare tire to get it out of our way. Moving underneath the vehicle you can see we have got dual exhaust. We want to lower down the exhaust system next to give us more room to work. There are three hangers that we are going to need to lower the exhaust off of. One here at the rear on the driver and passenger sides. If you follow forward to where the two exhausts meet there is a third hanger right there. 00:37 more
