Today on our 2003 Chevy Venture van, we'll be installing the Curt Hitch, part number 13344. This is what our hitch will look like once installed, next we're going to give you a couple measurements to assist you selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 6 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground it is 12 and a quarter inches. This will assist you selecting accessories such as a ball mount, inaudible 00:00:25, or cargo carrier. We'll now go ahead with installation. To begin our install, we'll first need to lower the exhaust here on the passenger's side. more

Today on this 1998 Chevy Venture Van, we are going to be installing trailer hitch part number 12244 from Curt. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a draw bar, bicycle rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the pin hitch hole to the outermost point on the bumper is 5-1/4, and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11-1/2. Now lets go ahead with the installation. Our first step will be to lower the exhaust out of the way, by unbolting it here and here, these points will also server as connection points. After the exhaust has been lowered we will go to the drivers side and clean out the exposed weld nuts here which will serve as attachment points also. more

From the center of the hitch pin hole to your outer most point of your bumper is 5-1/4 inches. From the top of your hitch tube to the ground is 9-1/2 inches.
