Hi there, Chevy owners. Today, on your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install REDARC's Tow-Pro Liberty. We're also gonna be using a plug-and-play cable that will plug directly into our Silverado here to get that module up and running quickly. Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video

Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to take a look at the CURT Echo. This is a proportional brake controller that's going to work for one or two axles. The CURT Echo is the perfect solution for someone who wants a brake controller on their truck or maybe multiple vehicles, but doesn't want to go through all the wiring and everything that's typically involved with that. The Echo uses a proportional sensor inside, so it's going to give us the proportional braking, which is much better than the time delayed braking of the past, at this point. To install it, it's going to go right into a working seven pole. Once it's in, the tab on the door is going to go behind the tab on the controller. more

Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're gonna be having a look at and installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller, part number: 90885, in conjunction with our Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, part number: 3016. Here's what our brake controller looks like installed. We already have a trailer plugged into our truck, so we have a "C" right here, which shows that we have a working electrical connection between the two. If we're trailer we're to ever become unhooked from the back of our truck, or we have an electrical fault, "NC" will be displayed here on the screen to let us know that we have a problem and our brakes on the trailer aren't working. Now, what I really like about this brake controller is that it gives us the functionality in order for us to tow a trailer that has up to four axles, so we can have up to eight electric brakes on our trailer. Also, we have the ability to tow a trailer that has electric over hydraulic brakes with no input required from us at all on the brake controller in order to make the setting change for that to work. It'll happen automatically. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we'll be having a look at and installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, part number 90195, and to ease our installation, we will be using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for electric brake controllers, part number 3016.Here's what our brake controller looks like installed. We have ours hooked up to a trailer right now, and when you're hooked up, you see you get an icon of a truck towing a trailer and it shows your current power output going towards your brakes. Since this is a proportional brake controller and we're in park right now, when I step on my brake pedal, we don't get any power being applied because we're not actually moving. There is no false application of the brakes. You have to be moving in a forward direction with your brakes applied. This brake controller will allow you to tow a trailer up to four axles controlling four sets of electric trailer brakes. This break controller will also allow you to control electric-over-hydraulic brakes without any modifications required to the trailer or your brake controller. more
